The week of the party they came out and scoped the location to figure out where they would set up. They arrived on time and got to work. There were two gentlemen who were very nice and friendly. Roasting a whole pig is a long process. They were at our home from 9:30am till 8pm. We had wanted to eat around 6 and they had things ready to go right on time. The sides we chose were macaroni and cheese, Caesar salad, and potato salad. They threw in some cornbread too. Everything was great, but the mac and cheese was extra great. I'm super picky about mac and cheese but it was quite well done and reheated beautifully the next day. In addition to the hog, they also cooked up some chicken parts which were the BOMB. Everyone wants that recipe! The hog was yummy and great fun to watch cooking during the whole day. Portley Pig did all the cooking, buffet set up, then clean up. It made my party so much more fun to not have to worry at all about the food. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone and would use them again!
