Adults must accompany their kids (no dropping off your kid and leaving), seating is first come first serve, there's a snow cone stand ($6.00) and a free shoe store area. You can bring your own water and snacks in. Nonslip socks are required. You can bring your own or purchase some at FunBox. Music was good and it was a fun time. The St. John's Town Center is such a huge boon for the city. But while we were busy cruising up and down town center boulevard, we found that our kids would be tremendously bored. Up until late last year the only form of entertainment we could provide them during a long day of shopping at the town center was the mall choo-choo train that costs us almost an Andrew Jackson for a 3 minute simulation of weaving between traffic for our 2 kids. Sure we could bring them to the beautiful pond at the center of the mall in front of the Italian restaurant, but with the lack of railings if we don't keep a close eye on them, they could literally be swimming with the fishes (or turtles or ducks)! Thank goodness for the Wolfson's Play Shore for providing our kids a break from all the commercialism. The name itself is reminiscent of the wonderful beaches that attract people to Jacksonville and the colorful sea life play structures continue with this aquatic theme. In regards to safety they've got you covered from top to bottom. The area is shaded and the flooring is made up of that finely ground tire rubber that makes you feel like you're wearing moon shoes. There is ample seating all around the area along with anti bacterial soap dispensers. Once the kids are all pooped out, it's back to the endless grind of spending our hard earned money. I'm glad a play area is finally here. If a free pitstop to unload your kids energy isn't your cup of tea, there's always the choo-choo.

There are also a day camp and classes/events you can attend there which is nice. The only cons I can find is that there can be some kids who are not into sharing or taking turns. There are others who just have no regard for the fact that little kids are there too. Running or pushing them out from other play-sets. And some who do dangerous climbing on the equipment and get aggressive toward you when you ask them to stop, then follow you when you move to other play areas with your kiddo then monopolize that play area till you move again. But maybe that was just my experience.

They need to install a shade there. playhouse kitchen: limited amount of pots, pans, utensils, dishes, and food items. Swings: not your typical swings that you think of at the park. I don't know what they're called but they're like hammock style swings. Climbing obstacles Monkey bars One thing that I noticed they are missing, a SLIDE and a ball pit. Even though I listed a lot of activities, I don't feel like it's toddler friendly. The physical activities required more advance hand and foot coordination. When we were leaving at 5:30pm there had to have been a line of 80+ people waiting outside to get in. Once past the check in process, the place is cool. They have lots of activities and it was a good place for our toddlers and teenage to get some energy out. This park offers quite a few activities that others do not and that is why we go there. However, we will be more selective on the times we go if there's a next time.

You are allowed to bring table clothes, balloons and your own cake. We also opted to add an extra pizza ($15.99 for a pepperoni) and an extra guest ($15.99). Upon arrival, you check in and meet your host. Your host will help you move from space to space or event to event which is designated by a colored balloon. It is a busy spot and more than likely you will be there with other parties. They feed two groups at the same time in the two separate but closely located dining area. The group we shared the area with was not very considerate so they were constantly overlapping into our area or events but our host did the best she could to help us out. It is a full three hour package and they will let you stay after if you want. They also give you some coupons for later use. Great place for a birthday party.
