Training was more extensive than any other company I have driven for and they got me prepared to do my job well. They keep me running, which is what I want. This is the best driver experience I have had with any company and it helps that the company's stated values reflect my own. I drive for System, which is the flat bed division of TSI and plan to be here for a long time.

Once I finished orientation I was assigned to a trainer, this trainer was in now way had the ability to train. Very stressed out all the time, had road rage. All he cared about was how long he could keep me in training, so he could collect a pay check. Several safety issues in the first week. I sent two emails and talk to Dale at the company . He was in no hurry to get me assigned to a different trainer. I'm a veteran you serviced 20 years in the AF. In all the crappy places I have been deployed, I have never felt this unsafe . I decided to get out of the truck and pay for my own flight back to Tucson. Very disappointed in my experience with TWT and all parties involved.

Back then, this college did a great job of offering enough classes to fulfill the general university requirements, so I could move on down the road to a public university. I particularly recall beginning and advanced volleyball, tennis, and bowling. Oh, and that psychology class also sticks in my head. On my most recent trip to SCC, I went to find my mom (it was Mother's Day weekend), and she was peddling her wares, lilacs at the Garden Expo. I also found my dad planted in a chair, helping the garden club. I had a chance to go down memory lane in the Lair, as I really wanted to find the bowling alley, but things have changed or rather there was too much garden expo in my way or my memory is really slipping. I don't know what classes SCC offers now, but I'd be willing to guess that it is still a great value, and if I had it all to do over again, I'd still come here first and get those required classes out of the way. My economics classes also paid off.

I reported all this to the automotive tech dean levingston and he just basically said that take it up with the same teachers causing the problems. An said they have a contract with them that states we students have to work our problems out with the teachers. So my question is then whats the point of the dean? Then come to find out the dean is buddy- buddy with the same teachers who are being unprofessional. So the dean is covering for the trash teachers. I hope one day someone with power sees this and does something about all this cricked school. I would avoid this college at all cost it is unprofessional and the teachers are trash at teaching.

I am a former student. There is a Christian church across the street that regularly posted flyers…read morearound the perimeter of the building and even held prayer events on the school campus. I am not Christian and the presence of the church on campus affected me negatively. For my senior project I wrote a 10 page research paper on how religion should not be promoted by publicly funded institutions. I would then present my paper and project to a group of volunteers who would trade me. Well that group of volunteers consisted wholely of church members from across the street. I altered trusted teachers of this conflict of interest and of my discomfort with Christian propaganda being posted around the school and I was ignored. I was given a lesser grade on my project due to bias. I was also in several choir classes, lettered in choir, and was selected to participate in Idaho All State Choir. But again, 90% of the songs were heavily Christian songs. I suggested broadening the selection to include songs from other religions during the holiday season and even brought in sheet music, but again I was ignored. Singing lyrics such as "praise the Lord" for years on end when I was not religious weighed on me and eventually led to me quitting even though it was my greatest passion.
