So, I attended for about 3 1/2 , 4 years. And I did not come out of the experience well at all. I ended up with severe depression and have actual scars as a result. The hit my self esteem took was incredibly bad, and Ieft that school with a huge self hatred , and I was under the impression that I was a horrible person, and I was definitely going to hell. I also had such bad anxiety from all the homework they would send home, and the fact that they would criticize your every move and constantly were there just judging, and bullying. I thankfully got out before it got to to drastic measures, however I had to be hospitalized before my parents even considered pulling me out. It got so bad that I was only getting about 3 hours of sleep tops, and was having panic attacks daily, multiple times a day.
My little sisters are sadly still there, and my sister right below me is up till almost 1 every morning trying to finish all of her homework, and her grades cause her so much stress, that she comes home crying because she's not sure how much longer she can continue. Their grading system is not a traditional grading system, and my sister has had to take the same test multiple times because she keeps getting a D, but that's still not good enough, and they have threatened to fail her because of that one test.
There is no way that I can in good conscious recommend sending your child to this school. The amount of times my sister came home raging, because one of the mothers either commented and said that she couldn't wear a certain skirt, despite the fact that she wasn't even at the school at the time. A different mother pulled my sister aside and started badmouthing our family, and also said that it was a good thing our niece had died, cause she wasn't supposed to exist in the first place. This was only a couple months after we lost her, so the wound was still fresh.
There are other things that have happened that I don't particularly want to go into, but every time I either go on the property to pick up my siblings, or see one of the teachers outside of school, I am filled with an unreasonable amount of anxiety, and than I spiral into severe depression
It had gotten to the point, that while i was attending I tried to kill myself multiple times. And when I talked to a teacher about it, she said it was unreasonable to feel this way, and I obviously needed to go to confession. because I was a sinner, and that was why I had so many issues. I spoke to a different teacher about it, and she ended up speaking to the mother Prioress and shortly afterwards I got asked to leave. My time spent there was not enjoyable, or healthy in any way. In fact it did more harm than good. The environment is incredibly toxic, and while I made some very close friends there, they were also either asked to leave or expelled.
So please please please, if you have any other option send your child there, the is to their mental health is not worth it in the slightest.
