This place falsely accused me of having judgments against me--completely untrue and slanderous…read moreaccusations made last winter. The owners were extremely rude and never even bothered to check my credit or history. They required a stack of paperwork from me, yet didn't take the time to review what I had submitted. Looking back, I'm glad I didn't purchase there, even though the location in the pine forest near the courthouse was appealing. The only possible issue with my application might have been timing--my ex passed away last February, which increased my Social Security benefits by two-thirds. At the time, I had also planned to list my brother on the lot lease, but he had no intention of living in a 50-year-old trailer when he already owns a beautiful home in Fountain Hills. I simply wanted to spare him from having to deal with Pine Lawn's unreasonable and outdated approval process. Instead, they falsely accused me of planning to let him live there without completing their long, drawn-out qualifying process by snail mail. Now, I'm in a wonderful, family-owned senior park--well-managed, with kind neighbors. I paid cash for a 13-year-old home and invested thousands into remodeling it exactly to my needs and taste. Even the title company asked me if I wanted to join a lawsuit against Pine Lawn! For the record, I have an 833 credit score, an excellent rental history, and the highest Social Security income available. Meanwhile, the rude owners at Pine Lawn won't even let prospective residents step into their office.

Casa Del Sol Mobile Home Park - This was my home. Now i don't have a home, i live in a travel trailer.

The manager and owner (Mike Merchant) of this 55+ mobile home park is mentally ill. It is said that…read morehe has bipolar disorder, and his illness is obviously unmanaged. I lived there only one year. During that time i took him to court for harassment. I was not the only woman that he harassed during my year there. He's a woman hater and a coward. He repeatedly showed up at my door unannounced and started yelling at me without provocation. He accused me of being "lazy" and called me a "drug addict". He made me pull out freshly planted rose bushes, after his approval of them only a week prior. He told me that i had to remove the white rocks in front of my mobile home or he'd hire someone to do it and give me the bill. Thing is, those white rocks were there for several years before i bought the place. I repeatedly saw him creeping around in the carport and the yard, looking for things to complain about. He threatened eviction with every single encounter. He wanders throughout the park late at night, scuffling his feet, stopping for several minutes at a time to look up at the sky, and acting confused. I was quiet and kept mostly to myself, he had no reasons to verbally attack me with the f-word, and threats of eviction. I don't drink or do drugs. My home was always perfectly clean. As time went on I was not sleeping well at night. His regular cycle of harassments caused me considerable anxiety. Living there was a NIGHTMARE!
