So when I showed up, the artist wasn't even there and I sat there just waiting until another employee at the shop called Steve. He verified he wrote down the wrong time, so I asked for my $60 deposit back (which I had to drive all the way there to give them 8 days before the appointment since they only accept Zelle and Apple Pay) the employee called Steve again to see about a discount to keep my appointment, and Steve offered me $20 off, which was insulting. The other employee insisted the artist was on their way, but having an artist rush over from home to do permanent ink on your body is never a good idea. They should've been there waiting and ready to go before I arrived. I took my $60 back and left. And I won't be back. The artists may be good but because of the guy who runs the place, I'll never know.

One thing I always appreciate about here is how friendly, caring, and informative everyone is. Whether I have questions about anatomy or aftercare, they always explain everything clearly and never make me feel rushed or confused. And honestly, the piercing process is always way faster and smoother than I expect. I'll mentally prepare for it to hurt and then suddenly they're like "all done!" and I'm sitting there like "oh, that wasn't bad at all" haha. That's also why all my cartilage piercings (3 helix's, 2 tragus's, conch, daith, and rook) have been done here!

1/30/26 - Called about information for a walk in to get my septum and a pair of lobe piercings…read moredone. They were very informative about hours and pricing. Most importantly they were able to do the piercings I wanted the same day unlike the other shops I called. When I arrived, the store was empty, very clean and quaint. Just the two workers opening the store for the day. I filled out the consent form and about 10 minutes later I was called to the back by Melissa who measured my existing piercings to mark them on my other ear. Very happy with her attention to detail. Everything seemed to be sanitized properly as well, at least to my untrained eyes. She went ahead with the lobe piercings after letting me see the spots she marked using a handheld mirror and they turned out great. I had the same experience with the septum as well. Overall, I am very satisfied with my experience here at Mint Condition and Melissa's work, and will always consider this place first when I'm ready to get my next piercings!

The deal was $31 + $9 tip, and they had about 75 sheets of designs to choose from. I went earlier this year compared to last time, which I definitely preferred. It's walk-in only and first come, first served. You look through the flash sheets, pick what you want, and put your name on the list. What I really appreciated was how organized everything was. After I signed in, they gave me an estimated wait time. Since it's CASH ONLY, I let them know I needed to pull money out, and the woman taking names was super nice she took my number and said she'd text me when there were about five people ahead of me. That was such a great system because I was able to wait outside instead of being cramped inside the shop. When I got the text, I went back in and waited comfortably. They have couches and plenty of standing room, so it didn't feel crowded at all. They had about four artists working, so the line was moving steadily. The shop itself was clean, spacious, and had a great vibe with good music playing. When it was my turn, I was assigned an artist and it happened to be the same one I had last time, Jessica! I loved that it just worked out that way through rotation. She placed the stencil, made sure I was happy with it, and got to work. We chatted while she tattooed, and before I knew it, she was done.
