I started seeing Irina at a time when I was finally ready to work through some of the emotional baggage I'd been carrying from a very difficult experience in my life a few years prior. Straight away I sensed that Irina's work would be deeply supportive of this process. In our first session, she shared that my mantra should be "release, relax, let go." Simple in principle; not always easy in practice! But I can say that after five reflexology sessions I am SO much lighter and more confident than I was when I started. You could actually see the internal changes taking place week on week-- they showed up dramatically in my face and the way i carried myself. I feel so incredibly grateful to Irina for this. (Oh, and I should also add to all this: it feels AH-mazing!). Irina is a treasure. She is clearly so experienced and gifted, and I place so much value in her wise and empowering guidance. I can tell that she will be someone I come back to again and again when the need arises. I honestly can't recommend her highly enough. (p.s. After several months of recovery I needed to find someone to help me continue my recovery during a cold winter. A family friend recommended for me to go see Dr. Mascetta, I hesitantly made the appointment. It was the best appointment I ever made and continue to make to this day. We went over my scans, discussed my healing, discussed what I do for a living having a physical job. We discussed what he wanted to do for helping me recover and most importantly, stating "we can fix this". After seeing him week after week for several months we spaced out my visits to bi weekly, and today, I see him when needed for adjustments that continue to help me daily with every day life. We developed a plan with what I need to do at home with important stretching and exercises to go along with the adjustments. I couldn't be more happy with my full recovery. Because I lived so far and work M-F, I could only do a weekend appointment and Rebecca worked with me to accommodate this. I was coming straight from Boston to her studio for a massage and got stuck in awful traffic. She suggested we reschedule so I wouldn't miss any of my session and that I would feel more relaxed than coming out of a huge traffic jam and get more out of the massage. It was very considerate of her. I have had many massages from various places, but a few stand out to me and my massage from Rebecca was one of them. It was perfect. I fell asleep for a little while, which for me is a sign of a great massage. When the session was over, Rebecca waited for me in her office while I got dressed. When I went there to meet her she was doing yoga stretches which I thought was great. Too many of us neglect our bodies, especially throughout the work day. After my third or fourth time they started greeting me like a regular, which is fun. The staff is always cheerful and friendly and they play relaxing music. Tina gives great massages. I usually do half body half foot. I even brought my sister who was visiting from out of town for her birthday here for a massage. My pedicures turn out great, I have no complaints. They will always try to upsell you on the spa pedi, which I always end up getting, but if you don't want that, I guess be prepared for that.
