When my mother passed I had no idea what to do with her jewelry. Ms Kabot - Carol - was extremely knowledgeable and honest in how she answered my questions. She understood the fine jewelry market and guided me on what pieces I should sell and what I should keep. I was especially touched that the person who was going to refine the gold refused my mother's wedding ring and insisted I keep it. Carol agreed with them and I am very thankful that part of their business model seems to be the acknowledgement that they were looking out for my emotional well-being as they put price tags on things that I care deeply about. I left the experience feeling positive about something that was very painful to me. And they were right. I always teased my mom I was going to make Christmas ornaments out of her jewelry. This year her wedding ring hung on the top of my Tree, on a little gold hook, and every time it sparkled at me I smiled and thought of my mom and how she would like that she was part of our Christmas. So, according to this appraisal, the property did not gain value in 5 years in Eugene, OR?? This is prime development property right on Willamette St. near 20th. It currently has a duplex and 2 other houses. The appraisal is a joke! It was sloppily and hastily done! The appraisal office will not respond to my calls and emails.

However, when we returned, an older lady assisted us and was quite rude. A few days later, we realized the repairs we had paid over $800 for hadn't been done. When my wife brought the ring back, the older lady accused her of lying and bringing in a different ring. After a very unpleasant interaction, she finally agreed to repair the ring. However, when we picked it up, the main diamond's prong was still loose. Frustrated, we drove downtown to Willamette Artisans Jewelry, where we received excellent service and they did a great job. I highly recommend checking them out instead.

The reply I got was that "we are not interested in competing with other Estate company's for your sale. I know this might seem a little arrogant but our company is very sought after and have a lot of people wanting us to help them."
