We did not know where this office was located, and so we called for directions as we driving into town. The problem was the directions they gave us were for coming from the opposite direction that we were coming from. It took a few minutes to figure out the error and then loop around after we discovered that the directions were bad. We arrived a few minutes late and was told that the appointment had to be rescheduled to another time. I then asked the receptionist to ask the Dr. if I can still be seen today. The receptionist left to check with the Dr. She came back in a while saying the Dr. said we were too late. So, I was rescheduled to a couple of more weeks out. I'm having a concern that as a new patient, I may be subjecting myself to brash treatment, disrespect and unaccommodating or considering my circumstances. What will they treat me like in any follow up appointments? Customer Service is very important to me. When I was still working not that long ago; selling my art at festivals I had great pride in giving my customers the utmost respect, working together with and for them to achieve the most satisfaction for both them and me.

I have now had the first eye done and I must say that Dr. Neahring and all of his staff at the Curry County Hospital were extremely professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. My surgery went well and Dr Nearing what's exceptional at explaining everything to me as he progress through the procedure. Now, I am absolutely amazed at the sight I have in this eye!! The clear crisp vision is awesome! The colors that I see are so beautiful and vibrant, especially compared with what I experienced while I had the cataract. Dr. Madsen was an awesome doctor for my cataract/IOL surgery. Very easy to talk to, explained everything upfront, and made sure I was comfortable with the expected outcomes (and downsides) for IOL vs. monofocal lenses (what insurance pays for) Net-net, my left eye ended up at 20/15 and my right eye a smidge over 20/20. But my upclose vision with my right eye was sharp at 12" and my left eye didn't get sharp until closer to 20". So unless I am trying to tie a flyfishing fly, I am 100% eyeglass free. I can read books, menus and my iPhone without readers, and have great long distance vision as well. My surgery was done in 2018 and everything is still great.
