Recently got my LASIK procedure done at NVISION it was definitely a great experience! I have to compliment the staff was amazing, very helpful & kind. I was kindly directed to take several test prior to doing the LASIK procedure, shortly after was the surgery & goes really quickly! 10 min & I was out! No pain until I left, I was given a Xanax and two Tylenol p.m. unfortunately these didn't work for me I felt the pain for two hours and a half drive on my way home it was discomfort burning felt like I had sandpaper in my eyes, for my size I think I needed a couple more Xanax for sure at least three. Shortly after I arrive home I was able to sleep, seeing some halos & slight blur but getting better it's been 5 days since & vision is definitely improving. The eye drops you are prescribed definitely burn you will need them 4 times per day, make sure you get the proper artificial tears preservative free I recommend to have them prior to surgery and start taking them three days prior get your eyes used to it. It's totally worth it, I was super blind! Thanks to all mighty god Yaweh & he's son Joshua I'm doing much better! Thank you to Doctor & staff for great experience, looking forward to update review after 3 month for updates!

The job gets done but I wouldn't call the experience 5 stars where everything is stellar from start to finish. I'm grateful for a successful procedure and so far so good in being able to see distance now! They did also honor the price that my coworker was quoted when they were having a special. I didn't meet dr T at my initial consult appointment but one of his colleagues, Dr Nohad. Something I wasn't informed about (which is unfortunate when you're about to drop thousands of dollars) and the staff response during my consultation was they'd be happy to schedule time for me to meet with Dr. Teplick on another visit. Ummm... I'm not taking more time off work to trek all the way out to the office, perhaps consider confirming who your consultation appt is with or my bad for making an assumption that one meets the doctor who would be performing the procedure? Also when I was finally ready to schedule an appointment it took 11 days for the person to respond to my email. I 100% support taking time off over the holidays, especially if the office is closed, but perhaps using the basic out of office message function is a tool that is common practice to utilize. On day of, I went in to meet with Dr. Teplick, he first tells me my response to not wanting to pay $500 for an additional procedure recommended by my optometrist and that I was opting to focus more on my behaviors (screen time, diet) is "a very millennial response of me even though I'm not a millennial" and then at one point asks me "how old are you?" Isn't this all in my chart? He did share other things to think about such as using a dehumidifier if I wasn't going to get the procedure. Also, when I didn't initial one of the checkboxes on the consent form he shared it's worded awkwardly and then basically hands me the form to sign and said that "it's not like I'm signing my life away". Communication style could use some work. For those that opt to get this procedure, the morning of they'll offer you two eye drop options presented in this manner - one $50 you can pay for at the office, for convenience that you only take 4x day for 1 week. The other are prescription - two separate drops that you take 4x a day for two weeks and you have to wait 10 mins better each drop. My only regret is not asking why the $50 drop and clearly better option can't be prescribed since I have good prescription coverage. My follow up the next day was with Dr Nohad and at some point I was provided the pamphlet on how to write reviews on yelp to give feedback. I also received one voicemail asking how I was doing and that they wanted to share info about the alumni referral program. Overall, I can see! This place has a strong reputation of performing successful surgeries (as a business should) but they're clearly cranking through patients and I wouldn't say they've mastered the patient experience in terms of quality and authentic communication.

There was only one staff member, a woman, working in the eyeglass department. She provided an initial quote but soon admitted that the price for the blue light protection was incorrect. Shortly after, she realized another mistake, as the discount for the second pair had not been applied. This was followed by yet another correction, and the errors continued for another three times. As the pricing kept changing, I began to feel increasingly uncomfortable with the lack of professionalism. I asked her to provide an itemized breakdown of the charges for each pair so I could clearly understand the costs. She told me that itemized charges were not available and only offered a total price for each pair without any details. I asked again, explaining that I wanted to know the individual costs for the lenses and frames. She refused and stated that this information would not be provided. She then mentioned that she had worked there for 19 years, insisted that she knew what she was doing, and told me that if I was not comfortable, I should leave. This was by far the worst and most unprofessional service I have experienced in over 30 years of visiting eye care shops.

While may wait time at intervals was lengthy, every staff member in the Vancouver office was super kind. My doctor was Dr. Tlucek and he felt so down to earth and nice. He did a variety of tests of the eyes/retina allowing me moments to reset when the light in my eyes just could not be tolerated any longer. Once diagnosis was made he gave me my choices and explained procedure - I opted to get procedure done then and there because I figure we only have one set of eyes and it wasn't something that I wanted to wait around and see if things got worse. Procedure only took a minute or two - so fast. I was then scheduled for a follow up and my cataract doctor was getting faxed the results. I had a choice of offices to choose from for the follow up with Dr. Tlucek. I give the worth and atmosphere created by staff a two thumbs up.

I was surprised by this decision so probably not able to ask the right questions but he was in a hurry and rather abrupt. It is very poor care to not see an ophthalmologist before cataract surgery and let an optometrist make the decision about whether you would benefit. Then if you did have cataract surgery the surgeon would not have looked at your eyes him/her self. I am getting a referral to an ophthalmologist.

They're great at handing out false hope. I was quoted $2,500 per eye and that went to $2700. per eye and then there was the co-pays and the facility use fee by the time it was done I was looking at around $8,000 for something they couldn't do. I consulted a local doctor who had done my late husband's cataract surgery and he explained that there was a certain amount of correction that comes from having cataract removal but those lenses don't work the way they promised for someone like me. When I canceled they suddenly became very rude said they would cancel with Dr Huggett and hung up, I have had no contact with Dr Huggett or his office staff since the appointments were canceled. He will not talk to me and his staff hangs up on me. The reason I am throwing Dr Huggett into the fire is because he told me that I had cataracts as dense as a glass of milk and that I needed to get cataract surgery right away because the longer I waited the more likely I was to lose sight completely apart from maybe shadows. Dr Huggett knew I was a Medicare patient and still referred me to PCLI at which time PCLI would have known I was a Medicare patient. But I was told they were the best, that I would have 20/20 vision and I wanted that. I'm close to 70 and I wanted to see like I used to. Where they thought I was going to get around $8,000 to pay for what they were offering I don't know. A payment plan would have left me in debt with interest. I would not recommend PCLI to anyone nor would I recommend Dr Huggett to anyone. Since I canceled with PCLI Dr Huggett has refused to talk to me or to see me in any capacity and I have learned that he is a close associate with PCLI. My personal opinion is they are out to take the last penny anyone's got for false hope. Take from that what you will.

Well the day I called Alexa answered bright and cheery as usual. I told her my sad story and she asked for my information so she could look up my account. Well I apparently had a TWO year warranty for scratches!!! Yeeeehaw!! So she said NO PROBLEM, we will just order the new lenses and then call you when they come in. You can swing by anytime it's convenient to get them swapped out! After about two weeks I realized that I hadn't given her my new phone number. So even IF she called she wouldn't get me! Lol. They got right to it and Shay had a hard time cleaning my glasses as I'd put these cheap plastic pads on to keep them from sliding lol She took those off, reshaped them and I keep them on my nose and then got back to cleaning the lenses. She went back again into the room Alexa had swapped the lenses out and called Alexa in. They found a HUGE scratch on my NEW lenses!! She said try he first thing the next day she'd call the lab to expedite me a new pair of lenses. That would only have been a week tomorrow.
