$528 consultation fee for an initial meeting with physician assistant. No follow thru after procedure. I would not recommend this clinic.

Yet, 2 receptionist and several more people in the back for ??? You text to get an appointment The Dr sees you then prescribes a treatment. If you get medicine, sometimes it takes weeks to get. You then see the Asst. from then onward. then the receptionist calls to give you another appt 5 weeks later so you're always out of meds a lot. They also make you fill out a daily 4 questionnaire w/o telling you they charge you for this. No one checks this information. In my case they would request from my insurance company for treatments i hadn't agreed to, they charged me for extended appointments when I saw the Asst for less than 10 minutes. I finally told him I was done coming, yet I was charged for 2 more months of visits. I had to file a claim with my insurance company. I finally got the amount I was supposed to pay from over $1,000 to $90. I would avoid this office. The receptionist is nice.

He would not listen, and someone in this field should be better behaved and show empathy, kindness, not an accusatory tone. He certainly thought a lot of himself, was gruff & despicable. His office staff was cordial and friendly, he does not belong there and needs to be fired.

Only barely 3 figures. We never even received a bill or late notice. They have also sent an amount to collections for me (mid 2 figures, not a joke) for something I have no record of. We can pay and are not criminals because your billing practices are hopelessly disorganized. Untrustworthy and malicious in its practices. Petty in its operations. Avoid. I would sue them myself if not for the fact that unlike them I am mature enough not to care about such petty amounts. Let's all hope the desperation is a sign of imminent failure of their business.

From my first visit I have been very pleased with most of the interactions with staff and Doctors here. Specifically, Veronica the MA in the orthopedic clinic, Dr. Hwang and his PA Michael Cunningham as well as Heidi Tyson my rehab therapist are all excellent. My experience at the surgical center was also as smooth as I could have possibly imagined. The staff, nurses, and anesthesia team were great. I never felt like I was in a scary hospital setting, and people paid attention and checked in on me often. As a fellow healthcare professional I know how to run a business and care for patients without my office feeling like a people mill. This is not like other large clinics or hospitals I have been to. It feels more personal and more like a family practice.

I canceled my appointment before I ever met with the provider because my experience with the office…read morestaff made me uncomfortable trusting this practice with my health. As a patient seeking help for pain, communication matters. Before my appointment, I tried to confirm the details but did not receive a clear response by email, text, or phone. When a medical office is difficult to reach before you are even seen, that raises serious concerns about how responsive they will be once you are actually under their care. After receiving no confirmation, I contacted the office. When I did not receive a confirmation of the cancellation, I called a second time and left a voicemail message canceling my appointment a second time. Despite that, I was later billed as a "no show", which is unacceptable. If the office fails to respond, fails to properly confirm an appointment, and then fails to process a cancellation, the patient should not be penalized for that breakdown. I cannot speak to the doctor's medical care because I never made it that far. But I can speak to the office experience, and it was poor enough that I chose not to proceed. For anyone dealing with pain, the last thing you need is added stress, unclear communication, and billing issues before care has even begun. This experience left me with the impression that the practice is more focused on collecting fees than making patients feel heard, supported, and properly cared for.

My husband and myself have never been in his office and felt like he didn't want to see us or had to rush out because his life is so busy. As for the quality of work he does... it is phenomenal! I cannot tell you how thrilled I am to see my husband with straight legs and feeling 20 years younger. Had he not gone in and gotten those knees of his replaced when he did, he would have been in a wheelchair within the next few years. I can't even remember anymore, how bad both his legs were from his arthritis. To give a shout out to my husband, he took his part of taking care of his new knee replacements very seriously. Within 9 days of both surgeries he was back to work. I think he thinks he's Superman. He is a great testimony to the work Dr.O'Shea does...if the patient steps up and follows through by doing their part after the surgery. Then there is Lisa, his fabulous assistant. Another great person with a wonderful polite bedside manner. My husband and I are as comfortable seeing her as we are seeing Dr. O'Shea for injection's and post op procedures. What a team the two of them must make doing surgery. Sometime in the future, I too am going to need new knees. You cannot know the comfort I have in knowing at that time I will be very well taken care by a fabulous doctor and his assistant Lisa. Lori

After my PRP injections, I've been accelerating healing. At night time, I woke me up to a tingling sensation instead of pain. I could feel it healing me. I went back and got my neck, tailbone, and lower shoulder. And then I had to go back and get the left side of my neck, I had bone spurs in my left side. they itched.. Balog 's office never did fax my left shoulder arthrogram to my surgeon. In May 2019, Balog's office finally got around to faxing to my orthopedic surgeon of record since 2016-- a mish-mash of incomplete medical reports that did not include my arthrogram MRI report. No where did Carl Balog indicate that I was a surgical referral. Therefore, Carl Balog claimed that he was coordinating a surgical plan with my orthopedic surgeon of record in a timely manner since 10-2018 and in 11-2020 he never did. In addition, Balog instead sent out two different medical charts-- one report went to the insurer and a totally different medical chart was sent to to me. Despite his knowing of this problem it continued for eight months Balog did not provide me a medical chart for 04-2020 or 05-2020 despite my request for these reports. Since COVID-19 Balog has not seen me in person since March of 2020 and we were having medical appointments every month by phone.
