Had service done and completed. Rained during insulation so inspection was done without completely looking at boards. Over 20 boards are severely cracked and need replaced . They refuse to replace saying manufacture defect. Other stabilizing boards cracked as well and I've been told company can't be responsible for quality of wood. They will not provide receipt of payment in full as well. 7 days after completion they will not fix even though I have 12 months in contract. They also refuse to provide a receipt of payment. Very sad I really trusted what they said about their quality. read more

Wow, what a great job they did on laying down the sod for the home. I just bought. They also put up a 6-foot privacy Fence--an outstanding group of men who worked in some of the worst heat we have had this year. The sod/grass looks great no problems with it whatsoever. Mowed it for the first time a couple of days ago. The fence is beautiful excellent work could not ask for a better job from anyone in Portland reasonably priced. They came back to fix a couple of unseen problems that were not their fault with no complaint. No extra charge. They did everything. I asked them to do and more. This company built me two solid, strong, beautiful cedar privacy fences - one in front and one in back. I really appreciated how they went above and beyond to wrap up the projects all in one day, including building the two new fences, replacing a loose post in an existing fence, reversing a weirdly fitting pre-existing gate that I requested be turned around so the latch could be on the inside, and drilling a support pole in my concrete driveway for the back gate. They were a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Anna from the office was an excellent communicator - responsive, knowledgeable, and friendly. Igor came out within a day to measure the space and discuss options, and sent a very reasonable quote within a couple of hours. I signed the contract and they were here within a week to complete both projects. Alex and Vlad arrived on time, confirmed my choices, zoning restrictions, and preferences, and got to work immediately. They labored for over 12 hours, checking in as needed and patiently answering my questions, and I couldn't be happier with the results. I have a beautiful arched gate and shorter fence (due to city zoning limits) in the front and a taller privacy fence (with double swing driveway gates) in the back. The older 60 foot long wood fence between our property and the neighbor blew over in the recent wind storm. These guys had high ratings and gave us a very fair bid, so we gave them the job. They removed the old fence remnants and built a beautiful new one as well as a swing gate, all in one day, including a professional quality site cleanup. Enjoyed the choice I made in using Oregon Quality Cuts to install an underground sprinkler system and new lawn in front, back and both sides of the house. It took 2-1/2 days. It was by far the least expensive bid and the quickest turnaround time I was quoted. They did a beautiful job and I only wish I had taken pictures of "before and after". Igor and crew came early, stayed late, and cleaned up after their work each day. They knew exactly what they were doing. They were willing to listen to me and answer all of my questions. I even changed my mind on where I wanted some of the grass and they tore up what they had already done and did it over. Great job! I found this company on Craigslist and then went to their website. My home is located on a hill with a side yard that has a steep slope where I want to place a green house. I called Oregon Quality Cuts and someone came out that day to give me an estimate. They worked with me and my budget and scheduled the work to be completed a couple of days later. They showed up on time, were pleasant and professional, and did beautiful work. After building a retaining wall and filling the yard with top soil to level out the yard, I am now able to place my green house on a space that I haven't been able to utilize before. Needed some blackberries removed from my back yard, so I was looking on Craigslist to find someone who does this type of work. I found two guys, one I contacted via Craigslist and the other (Oregon Quality Cuts) via their website and made appointments to see them both to get a quote. First quote I got was $400. Then the guy from OQC showed up promptly at the agreed upon time to give me a quote. He looked at the yard, and I won't say what the amount quoted was, but let's just say it was MUCH lower! So of course I went with Oregon Quality Cuts. They came in the next day and had the blackberries gone in just under an hour. And this was a fully overgrown yard! They also ran a weed eater around the edges, and cleaned up the side yard in front of my place as well! All I have to say is hire these guys, you will not regret it! I sure don't! The workers were doing their best, but the yard work was done sloppy and not completed. The wife of one of the workers is running the business and has the worse communication skills and high ego I have ever experience in my business career. She has demanded payment same day, even before all the work was completed. It was very difficult to deal with. Stay away from contractors who will not finish their job and waste your time and money. read more

I called several other landscaping companies to request an estimate for sod installation for a small front yard before finding Oregon Quality Cuts. The process became very frustrating, as we couldn't even get a call back. Oregon Quality Cuts returned my call very promptly and scheduled to come out to write an estimate the following day. They did run about 30 minutes late but called prior to advise of the traffic situation. This was very much appreciated. The two gentlemen that came were very friendly and knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. The estimate was emailed to us very quickly. We ended up not using Oregon Quality Cuts because a neighbor came through with another offer but would not hesitate to call them if I have future needs.
