Whenever I'm shopping on Oak I stop in to check out the beads to see if anything catches my attention. I don't need anything! But that is why these type of shops are fun because you will come across a stone that will inspire you to create. In addition to jewelry supplies, they have lots of crystals & stones for their energy and healing powers. And incense. They make you pay extra for the instruction videos after you've purchased the pattern, and later realize during the knitting process that it's incomplete. We live in a place that values community, and their business model is very anti community oriented. The yarn is beautiful, but the experience is not. Rather than attempting to make it right with the customer, they'll just ghost you.

Made SNIDE comments about her missing questions 'well had you of taken my driving class you would have know all these answers, maybe you should have studied more, man your not doing so good.' SO RUDE!!!!!! During the test he answered phone called, made phones, talked to her and was LOUD which would be difficult for anyone to concentrate to take the test. After he corrected the test he said well you didn't pass so you'll have to come back and see me, but you still owe me $25. SO IRRITATED THERE ISN'T A CLOSER PLACE TO TAKE THIS TEST WITHOUT DRIVING OVER 2 HOURS. This guy is very inappropriate, rude and VERY unprofessional!!!!!!

The shop has a variety of art displayed across several mediums, most framed. Antiques and collectibles are dispersed amongst the handmade items. In the back is the studio where they give classes; check their website for the schedule. I'm a big fan and supporter of art and always stop by studios and galleries to look at and appreciate the creativity. One never knows when a particular piece with "speak" to them and results in having to have it! While I didn't find anything this day, I enjoyed walking around the studio and looking at everything.
