Typically covered pool, during the summer months they open a few panels to let the sunshine and warm air shine through. Oh, and the wind, too! It is Hood River so fierce winds are to be expected. You can do a Day pass for $5 or buy punch card of 10 swims for a discount, more of a discount if you live in Hood River and are a senior. Even though I'm from Portland, I purchased o e because I know it will get used. I'm in Hood River frequently - my Happy Place- even happier when I get in a swim. There are 4 lap lanes and 2 per lane, splitting rather than circle swimming, always a plus. There is a timer clock on each end making it super easy to know when you've accomplished your time or to see how quickly you are swimming. Lap lanes are usually available all day but always check their website for the most accurate info. A large play area is available for kids and families as well as an individual shallow pool. A few lounge chairs and lots of metal bleachers on the perimeter. You can also walk a few feet to an outdoor patio if you need more sun. I did! Needed to speed up my drying time after my shower. Locker rooms are typical, a few private showers and an open shower pit area. Staff is friendly. They were super helpful and informative when I called to inquire about usage and the same friendliness greeted me when I arrived. Happy to have discovered this pool and will be back! I have a punch card to use up!!!

The shop has a variety of art displayed across several mediums, most framed. Antiques and collectibles are dispersed amongst the handmade items. In the back is the studio where they give classes; check their website for the schedule. I'm a big fan and supporter of art and always stop by studios and galleries to look at and appreciate the creativity. One never knows when a particular piece with "speak" to them and results in having to have it! While I didn't find anything this day, I enjoyed walking around the studio and looking at everything.

THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE!!!! First off daughter goes in to…read moretake the written test. He gives her the WRONG test. Then, after my daughter being frazzled, he gave her the next test. Made SNIDE comments about her missing questions 'well had you of taken my driving class you would have know all these answers, maybe you should have studied more, man your not doing so good.' SO RUDE!!!!!! During the test he answered phone called, made phones, talked to her and was LOUD which would be difficult for anyone to concentrate to take the test. After he corrected the test he said well you didn't pass so you'll have to come back and see me, but you still owe me $25. SO IRRITATED THERE ISN'T A CLOSER PLACE TO TAKE THIS TEST WITHOUT DRIVING OVER 2 HOURS. This guy is very inappropriate, rude and VERY unprofessional!!!!!!
