Suuuuuuuper friendly and knowledgeable. I noticed a reoccuring gripe, from patrons of other dispensaries, is the employees scanning ID's. Not sure what that's about, but they don't do that here. Started off as a two star experience but their friendly service won me over in the end! The rub on this place is that the set up is not conducive to moving people in and out quickly, especially if you go during peak hours. You have to wait in a little waiting room for a sales associate to be available for you. Felt like I was waiting to see the doctor, albeit the coolest doctor ever. There were only two people ahead of me but I waited 10-15 minutes. It started filling up after me and those poor saps were probably in for a 15-30 minute wait, depending on if anyone ahead of them was a noob and wanted to smell every strain (eyeroll). So by the time my name was called I was a bit annoyed, but the guy who helped me out couldn't have been more helpful. Very friendly but in a calm, intelligent, almost soothing way. Helped me make a decision and send me on my way in no time at all. Five star service salvaged this otherwise subpar experience. I recently moved nearby, so I'm eager to try them again. Just might try to hit them up during off hours next time, and I suggest you do the same. read more

A cozy little dispensary on the second floor of a hair salon. Came in with my friends kind of on a whim. We figured, we're in Oregon, might as well give it a shot! Although I feel like this place wasn't as decked out as I would've expected a dispensary to be, and they had pretty limited product selection, the service was very nice and the people were not at all stuck up and very friendly and non-intrusive. Something I think is crucial in this kind of business. I hope that it ends up becoming more established and fleshing out the place though, but would love to give this place one of it's first reviews. Definitely hole in the wall, but come give it a shot! Some actually helpful information: ~$10/pre-roll ~$15/g, ~$25/eigth ~$35/fourth depending on their strain. Wow! What a wonderful dispensary in Portland's alphabet district. It's professionally run and features a great blend of product from flower, edibles, vapes and more they have it all. The bud tenders are knowledgeable and friendly and will patiently answer all questions, offer advice and suggest new product options without that "air of smug" I've encountered at other stores. The OW is located outside of the downtown area in the Alphabet District which is also worthy of a walk through. read more

Worst staff. Got there 5 minutes before close trying to exchange a shorted vape cartridge that they sold me but the store supervisor wouldn't even let me in. I was cordial and friendly. If you are the owner and read this, I strongly advise letting go of the person in charge 3/27/23. I will never go there again or recommend this place unless I hear back with an apology. I understand that a faulty cartridge is the vendor's fault but when I bring it back unused, it's the the store's customer service that counts. I'm from San Francisco, which some would consider the cannabis capital of the US, however my experience at Oregon Weedery topped every establishment in SF. It's on the smaller side, but packed with tons of goodies! Receptionist was super sweet and the budtender (wish I got his name) was super helpful and kind! I love love love the alphabet district! This place was so clean, professional, and the girl at the counter was so cool! The people simply checked my ID, logged me in, and I was on my way to heaven! She helped instruct me how to make the Cannabis tea, and what strains each will do for me. I definitely spent so much money here but it was totally worth it. I absolutely loved the set up even though it was quite small. There was also a large selection of cannabis. They also carry my favorite brand of organic papers OCB which was awesome. I wish I would've bought more since I can't seem to find them in vegas. Medical marijuana is definitely the way to go. It always helps with my neck spasms, and aches and pains. I was buying and trying to network to companies who may be looking to open another shop in California next year and she was very little help. I could barely look at the weed to check quality the way you're supposed to before she bitched at me, so, I walked away with very dry weed. The main thing I was checking was freshness on their products before I made my purchase but she made me feel like a burden even though I was giving them service. I really like this dispensary. I go in frequently (at least once a week) and most of the budtenders have made effort to get to know me and build rapport. Their selections change often which is great. They have several CBD options which is wonderful for recreational, most rec places don't because the consumer mass wants high THC but those of us who use weed for its medicinal properties are grateful to not have to be high all the time. Their recommendations are spot on. I can tell them if I didn't like a previous strain, why, and they point me to a new and better one. I love their value weeds and that they always switch em out. Everything I've gotten from here has been quality. Sometimes their weed's a little more on the dry side but that doesn't bother me, I lived in Colorado for many years and all their weed is dry as a bone. I love getting to see the occasional puppers. I'm sorry to say my husband and I didn't have a great experience here. We went to several dispensaries in Portland and of all of them, this was the one we agreed we would never return to. It started out ok...one female budtender was helping us look at the cartridges. I asked some basic questions about the composition of the extracts and she was unable to answer them, which was disappointing. But the worst part was when a budtender behind our back started pointing at the door as if to signal her to speed it up, people are waiting...she misunderstood and asked what he was pointing at, which caused us to turn around, he looked a little embarrassed and mumbled something, and it took us a second to figure it out. Once we realized what had just gone down, we felt very unwelcome. We had been in the shop all of three minutes before he started signaling for his coworker to wrap it up and get rid of us so others could come in. I realize they don't want people waiting all night, but like I said, we had been in the shop less than five minutes. I guess he thought our "stupid" questions were a waste of time. At that point we finished up and paid for the item we had selected without really looking at the rest of the store, because clearly we had overstayed our welcome. Never, ever again. read more
