I LOVED the convenience of being able to jump out of the van straight back in to my car, and then hop onto the 93 home. It was awesome! I was going on a trip to Florida and opted for the "look like I've been there already for a few days" tan. I arrived early at the parking lot, and waited a few minutes for the technician to arrive. Once she arrived I signed some papers while she put the black out shades over the windows. It was a cooler day in April, so when I first got in the van it was chilly. She revved the heat up, but it was still slightly uncomfortable to disrobe and then get sprayed with the chilly solution. The color turned out ok. It was natural looking and even. I just didn't love it. In my opinion it felt a little like it had "yellow" undertones compared the brown/bronzy look I love. Looking back at the pictures, it looks good; and even my boyfriend really liked it (and he prefers me white). There was nothing wrong with it, and maybe I should have just gone for a deeper shade. Since then I have tried another tanning salon and ultimately had a better overall experience. It was more comfortable and I LOVED the final result. So in the end, Sun Tan Van was just OK for me. I would keep them in mind for the future, but they won't be my go-to.

I ended up paying $75 for what amounted to a trim and shampoo. Also, after blow drying my hair the stylist asked if I didn't use some sort of heat protectant because my hair was reacting to some serious heat damage to which I replied, 'I don't ever use heat on my hair'. The heat damage was because the stylist did not use a heat protector and fried that crap out of it with the blow drier! :( Updating to one star: I now see they price gouged me even more than I thought as there is a yelp deal for $35 off a $50 haircut. I more than qualified for that and if you charge $75 for a trim wtf do you get for $50? A bang trim? Do not go here! I came to Amal Niccoli after seeing many recommend this place on Facebook. I saw that they do walk-in's so I came on a Saturday morning at opening time at 0900. Courtney greeted me and said she was able to take me in. The salon was clean, welcoming, and felt comfortable. I requested for 3 inches cut off, long layers, side swept bangs, and face framing pieces. She absolutely delivered! She was very easy to converse with and made me feel very comfortable. She also told me how they do free bang trims which is so nice! I usually trimmed my own bangs but now I know I can set up an appointment and come in for a quick bang trim. I paid 67$ for a shampoo, cut, and blow dry. I absolutely love my haircut and will make Courtney and Amal salon my primary hair salon now! Thank you again!
