I set up an appointment very quickly through Yelp with the Sun Tan Van. We mutually agreed to meet up in the parking lot under the 93. I LOVED the convenience of being able to jump out of the van straight back in to my car, and then hop onto the 93 home. It was awesome! I was going on a trip to Florida and opted for the "look like I've been there already for a few days" tan. I arrived early at the parking lot, and waited a few minutes for the technician to arrive. Once she arrived I signed some papers while she put the black out shades over the windows. It was a cooler day in April, so when I first got in the van it was chilly. She revved the heat up, but it was still slightly uncomfortable to disrobe and then get sprayed with the chilly solution. The color turned out ok. It was natural looking and even. I just didn't love it. In my opinion it felt a little like it had "yellow" undertones compared the brown/bronzy look I love. Looking back at the pictures, it looks good; and even my boyfriend really liked it (and he prefers me white). There was nothing wrong with it, and maybe I should have just gone for a deeper shade. Since then I have tried another tanning salon and ultimately had a better overall experience. It was more comfortable and I LOVED the final result. So in the end, Sun Tan Van was just OK for me. I would keep them in mind for the future, but they won't be my go-to. read more

Convenience at it's best! With little time to accomplish all of my daily tasks, and a wedding the next day, I called the Sun Tan Van in desperation. They were quick to respond, and happy to come on Saturday night! I poured myself a glass of wine, and within 20 minutes of their arrival I was bronzed. Call the Spray Tan Van just a few hours before I had to department Airbnb in Boston and fly to New York. They were the first ones to call me back and within a half hour a girl had arrived to my location with everything ready to go. The girl was very professional nice and to the point she quickly set up pop up tent in the living room , used a deep color rapid tan which suited my skin town perfectly and I get Spraytan's all the time - this is one of the better ones I'm going on 5 days and the tan has barely just started to fade in small areas, and overall I still have a very nice deep tan look, the price was nice to considering they come all the way to you and are very punctual and the quality of the tan $75 is not bad, and that's for the rapid tan! read more

This business is GENIUS. I really needed a spray tan for an audition today so I emailed the sun tan van for an appointment. I thought it would be too last minute to book since I emailed them the night before the spray tan, but they were so flexible and accommodating. It was raining so I chose the in home option where they set up a small tent in your living room and do the spray tan there. It came out so even and not at all orange and I didn't even have to leave my house! It is so much better than driving somewhere and having to come back home in sticky clothes, especially during the winter. I will 100% be getting tans from them again and recommending to everyone. If you have Asian skin don't do it. I feel n look like an Oompa Loompa. The spray itself was $65! The spray left me looking orange. And I also got blotches everywhere. My feet legs and knees are all 3 diff colors! Not worth the hassle of driving to a parking lot in Boston and pay for the parking coming out looking orange. The formula left me smelling disgusting as well. Maybe she sprayed the wrong color on me? I don't know honestly. Don't they put barrier cream on before the spray? I was set up with Abbey for a spray tan 4 days before my wedding. Not only was she quick in her responses to my questions about how to best prep, she was incredibly professional during the tan and available for any questions I had afterwards. She was on time and her setup/take-down was incredibly quick! She told me to wait the 2.5 hours for the perfect "glow" and she was SPOT ON. By Saturday, my tan was so perfect and looked amazing! My friends have been raving about the Sun tan van for a while now so I finally decided to give it a try. I am no stranger to spray tans and have gotten them quite frequently for weddings, etc. However, The Sun Tan Van is just so convenient and Abby is so friendly, professional and customer service oriented. Most importantly, I absolutely LOVED the way my tan came out--a very natural looking deep glow, that dried pretty fast (I did the rapid tan), lasted a while and faded evenly.
