I was here a little while back put $20 on my account or so they said they did and I just had to pay again as my account had no balance. They changed my appt without asking me and when I responded to an email confirming my appt they told me if it was more than 15 mins they would have called and checked to see if it was a problem. He is totally interested in the physiology of the body and for me he can relate with sports related injuries. My wife spotted this place while running errands and recommended I give it a try. I called and spoke with someone name Nina, who was extremely friendly, informative and patient as I went back and forth on selecting a day to visit. Luckily, they have late appointments, so I finally settled on 7pm. I am not sure if my car's navigation system was playing a cruel joke, but I was navigated to a massage establishment across the street from where I eventually realized I needed to go. Based on first impressions of the building, I thought to myself, this can't be the place! The building looked run down and condemned despite the crooked hanging MASSAGE sign on the window. This place screamed HAPPY ENDING, and I wasn't interested! At this point, I was certain this couldn't possibly be the right place. Perhaps my wife was in on the joke with the navigation system. Either way, I wasn't laughing and just when I had turned the car around to head back home, the navigation said ....destination in 600ft. WTH! I thought I was at my destination?! As it turns out, my destination was 600ft back in the opposite direction and on the opposite side of the street. I made nice with the navigation system and arrived on time for my appointment. Unlike most people, I don't get massages for pleasure but instead for pain. Well let me explain. I get reoccurring knots in my shoulders, and the only relief trigger point massage therapy. I have been getting frequent massages for the past 5+ years which has all been out of pocket. As always, I requested a FEMALE therapist with the firmest pressure and was assigned to Brandi. The building is located in a residential community and when I pulled into the parking lot the first thing I noticed was a sign in the neighbor's yard that read, "No Parking." If you eliminate his portion of the lot, that only leaves four spaces to park. Oh well it was late in the evening so all but one was empty. The outside of the building was small but charming and the inside was cozy if not a bit tight. The therapy room was typical for most massage establishments...dim lighting, soothing music, the smell of incense and oils, etc. The therapist was friendly, but I am not sure I would use her again on a return visit. Overall, she seemed to lack a flair of confidence and passion I typically look for in a massage therapist. I am use to a massage therapist saying something similar to..... You have NEVER felt healing hands like mine. Instead I got....... Well (sigh) let me see what I can do There will not be a return visit. read more

Due to a increase in computer work, I have been getting miserable back spasms that have caused a lot of pain. :( So it was recommended by my physical therapist to go get a deep tissue massage in order to relieve the pain. This was one of the few in Lacey, so I gave it a shot and I'm glad I did! Iris, who specializes in deep tissue, has given me three massages so far and pretty much stopped the back spasms so I can work! She is great at her job and makes sure that its not unnecessarily painful (its deep tissue so there is some normal discomfort) and makes sure she is checking in with you often. Plus, she is really friendly and nice! In short, three massages = no pain. That's a good deal! :) I will continue to come here every so often to help my back while I'm doing computer work and also just to relax! The price is very reasonable as well! Thanks Iris! read more

I would like to review but I just stood around waiting on a looked door to be opened for my confirmed appointment. There was a sign on the door saying wait for your appointment time and someone will unlock the door. Fifteen minutes after the confirmed time, no one appeared. Another woman drove up after I got there, waited, checked the door and drove away. There was no way to get in touch with anyone, the phone number provided only went to a recording. Not only has this place moved my appointment times without asking, they also canceled an appointment without a call to say they were doing so. They apparently think sending me an email about my cancellation is great customer service. They also push having a 90 minute massage, but neglected to inform me that a 90 minute is not covered by insurance. The massage I received was just OK. read more

I still think the massages here were great but I was a little disappointed with billing. I was told my insurance would cover 80% but when I got my first bill, it was for the full amount, but it had said that was for my deductible. I went to my second appointment and got sent another bill in full. I was confused so I tried calling multiple times with no answer. When I finally got a hold of billing they said that was part of my deductible. Being frustrated, I called my insurance to see how much my deductible was and it was a very high amount. I wish the receptionist would have told me that over the phone instead I was annoyed with her short answers and not getting a real explanation. read more

Jo and Matt are warm, welcoming folks who are all about helping you to become healthy and centered in your body. They actually LISTEN, and are willing to take the time to find the best way to achieve your goals. I started seeing Jo over a year ago to deal with stress and recurring headaches. The results were wonderful, but short-lived (stress, etc). As my treatments continued and we weren't seeing the progress that we had hoped, she referred me to Matt. In 10 sessions, Matt rebuilt my body. Amazing. I don't have headaches anymore, I'm more aware of how I hold my body, and know that years of discomfort caused by injury, bad posture, and stress have melted away with his intensive body-work. If I needed any other evidence, other than feeling great, my shoes fit differently - the wear that I would always get on the outside of my heels has disappeared, and I find that walking, standing and just being in my body is immensely improved. I have had both Brandi and Iris for massages and they are both great. Very intuitive and friendly. Strong hands. The location itself is a little shabby on the outside - but don't judge a book by its cover. The inside was lovely and had a relaxing environment. I will definitely be back. read more
