Manuel is fantastic! We talked a couple times and got an initial idea of what we wanted to do. Then he came to measure and talk a bit more so we could refine the project. Manuel provided us with renderings and a quote that was well within our budget. We are not starting our project just yet because of timing but once we say yes, I'll come back to talk about that experience. So far, MJ has been fantastic to quote us and get us started on our kitchen remodel. I recommend them with no reservations!

From the beginning Manuel was challenging to get ahold of (no responses on emails mostly). Work started a week later than we had agreed on and Initially the project was supposed to take 3 days - demo, install, finishing- and it was suggested that it could be done in one week. The project started September 25 2024 and was finally finished November 15, almost 2 months. During demo we had to ask them to stop because they did not tape off the space and spread huge amounts of dust throughout our house that we ended up needing to do lead and aesbestos testing to move forward (not to mention, I had to take a day off of work to clean up the mess created). We had to call and text and basically beg them to send people out to finish the work and we could tell we were a very low priority- mostly working Saturdays, canceling multiple times after committing to dates, unwilling to commit to days until a day or two in advance, etc. He pretended he would work around our schedule but if that was the case, this work would have NEVER been completed. I canceled plans 3 times during this process to make myself available to get this work done. After demo, I think they realized this job was more complicated than originally anticipated but instead of telling us that, Manuel just kept us guessing, unsure if the timeline had changed- he did not want to communicate specifics with us which we would have really appreciated and welcomed. We learned quickly that they were not particularly respectful of our space so we began taping up our own plastic space dividers to keep dust and fumes out of the rest of our living space. The workers were very nice and I believe the issue is with management rather than the workers themselves. In the end, the work is nice enough which is why I give 2 stars instead of 1. The finished work was absolutely not worth the headache and displacement we experienced to get it done. It was a truly painful experience. I have other cabinetry projects I would like to do but will absolutely not be hiring MJ Custom cabinetry again to do the work.

Getting tiles replaced is like pulling teeth, uncomfortable and painful.

Before the order was finalized and placed, the field supervisor, Gus, stopped by to view the job site and make final measurements to insure a perfect fit. California Closets has a system in place where I was notified of every step in the process. Today was the final step. Jason showed up exactly when he said he would and immediately went to work putting my new closet in place. The long, messy construction job that I dreaded did not happen. The whole process was easy, thorough, and very professionally done. From tear down through construction was less than one day. I needed to hire a separate handyman to perform the tear out process. I had an appointment scheduled with Garage Organizers that left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. Unfortunately, the reason for my negative experience was beyond my control and happened due to the technician's car not starting. The day of the appointment arrived, and as I eagerly awaited their team's arrival at 10 am, I received a text message from their Customer Service Representative, Nick Jerez. He informed me that he wouldn't be able to make it due to his car not starting. While I understand that unforeseen events can happen to anyone, the lack of a contingency plan or even a call left me disappointed and inconvenienced. While I can certainly empathize with unexpected car problems, I found it quite unprofessional that there was no backup plan in place. A reputable service provider should have contingencies for such situations to minimize inconvenience to customers. Given this experience, I have serious reservations about relying on Garage Organizers for any of my future needs. It's concerning that they couldn't handle a basic scheduling hiccup effectively. If a company can't ensure their team's punctuality and reliability, it raises questions about their ability to deliver on their promises. It's frustrating to think that a company providing organizational services couldn't manage to organize their own resources effectively. A car breakdown is certainly unfortunate, but it's not an excuse for failing to communicate or provide a reasonable solution. I hope this review serves as a cautionary tale for others who might be considering Garage Organizers. I wasn't sure what I was looking for or what I could afford, and they were so understanding and helpful about working within my budget and even open to coming up with a plan and waiting if that's what I wanted to do. I went ahead once I got the excellent quote and saw the fantastic rendering of my organized garage that they came up with to my specifications. Installation was fast and easy, and everyone in the family is thrilled with the results! The bikes, scooters, folding chairs, childhood detritus, christmas tree, et. al. all now have places they belong! It's a miracle! I highly recommend this company. Jay was great from our first phone call to our initial visit. Very customer centered. Asked a lot of good questions and helped us design exactly what we needed. Also, we changed direction as we were considering expanding our garage, and Jay was very accommodating. Marc and his crew came out for the installation, and we found behind some existing cabinets we were replacing the wall was set back and not one straight line. Marc, who said "we are in the solution business", came up with a plan on the spot and made it work. The job was completed on time, and the cabinets and shelfs are of high quality and we are so pleased with how they turned out. Where can I begin, the team at Organized Garage Solutions are a top notch company when it comes to courtesy, professionalism, and value of products. I met with their sales consultant once and had an estimate and 3D rendering the same day. I had a few changes I wanted to make and they were back out to re measure the next day. 2 days later I had everything installed and even added a few things during the installation. The installer Frank was easy to work with and got everything done in a timely manner. They called and followed up with me a few days after to make sure everything was working for me and to my liking. The entire process from the beginning was professionally done, including getting the quote by Kevin who generated beautiful 3D renderings, was polite, and knowledgable. The team that came out, was quick and professional, and made the process look so easy. To wrap things up, Mark himself came out to do the final quality review and cleanup. He is probably one of the most patient, polite and knowledgable professionals I have ever dealt with. Excellent friendly service. Jay and Kristen came by for the estimate. They demonstrated their product, listened to my needs and gave helpful suggestions. They took measurements and sent a 3D plan and quote the next day. I did get a quote from one other company offering 40% off, (of an inflated price). The difference in quality to price made AAA Garage solutions the obvious choice for me. Three weeks later Brian and Pasqual showed up on time with my already constructed cabinets and Monkey Bar system which they beautifully installed within half a day. When he came to my home, I was impressed with his knowledge of the polyurea coating process. He was not pushy like other bids I received. The installers, Hector, Manny, and Frank were punctual, friendly, they answered all my questions, and gave me a VIP front seat to watch them transform my garage into a Better Homes and Gardens one! The design suits our needs…read more(i.e., custom size; more drawers, less cabinet space), it's made of high-quality, durable materials (wood, not composite), the walnut veneer is beautiful, and all the hardware is soft-close. Throughout the process Interium gave us excellent customer service: from drafting a design based on our ideas to being responsive for day-to-day questions, and ensuring everything was perfect post-install. For the post-install they created a "punch list" and quickly followed up to complete it. The only negative is that the construction of the vanity took longer than expected (~1 week longer). Overall, we're very happy with Interium and would hire them again in the future.

Then I rented out the house and the floors held up under three sets of tenants over 11 years. The tenants who stayed for nine years had two dogs (one after the other) and I saw no signs of damage on the floors from them. There were lots of different folks required (each expert) at their own area for the above work, but I did feel like they each knew what the other was doing and I was kept up to date by either the owners or my service rep. I also like that they are a small business - I felt my project was important to them even though it was not the "biggest" (especially since I broke it into 2 phases for my own budget planning). I'm VERY happy with my updated kitchen and would work with them again.
