I asked to remove cheese and replace the ranch to make it vegan. I also asked for the limited edition 'Ohana Breeze smoothie, which was really delicious and tropical. The food was ready in the pickup area when it said it would be, but when I walked back to my car and bit into my wrap I realized there was chicken in it. I thought about just picking out the chicken, but there was too much mixed in. Luckily I didn't drive off and was still around the corner so I could easily get my order fixed. When I told the cashier about the mixup, her first response was if I asked for it with no chicken, where I had to show her the online menu where it shows that it's not one of the ingredients. She was very apologetic, and ended up having to go back and remake the wrap herself, even though she wasn't familiar with the the kitchen. (The rest of the staff disappeared.) When the manager came back, staff relayed the story and she was also very apologetic, and took over to make sure my order was right. I'm grateful that they were able to fix my order, but I do lose trust in an establishment once they add meat to a dish that is listed as a vegetarian option. Vegetarians and vegans can get very sick from eating meat, it's not pleasant. It was my first time ordering a food item from tropical smoothie, I've only ever ordered smoothies, but it'll probably be the last time. Once they got the order right, the wrap was just really bland, and I didn't enjoy it.

It's truly a hit or miss with the staff whether you encounter friendly ones or annoyed ones. I normally prefer the other location on cypress but sometimes I am closer to this specific location. The food normally is ok. But today I placed an online order that was missing an item and I wasn't informed upon my arrival until I checked and asked. The guys working there told me there were out and offered me another side option. If I didn't ask I would have left without any notice. They also packed the bag without utensils or napkins and the açaí bowl was upside down tossed in the bag. The açaí bowls from other locations usually have freshly cut fruit but mine had half frozen half thawed out bananas that were nasty and mushy so I had to remove them from the bowl. On top of that my kale salad tasted old. When I checked it had a written date giving the kale salad a week to last in their fridge I supposed and the one I had seemed to be a day old. I didn't eat it not because it was refrigerated for a day but because it tasted old. Like fridge taste. $30 spent I should have just stuck with the wrap I ordered and nothing else. If there's another tropical smoothie on the way I would try them out before stopping here.

While the menu didn't have any of those, we both found something to try. I had the Ricotto Blackberry Orange Stack, side of bacon, and coffee. Hubby had the Saturday only chicken & waffles and asked for a Coke and was told they only had Mt. Dew, which he prefers! They do make smoothies. Very cute cafe located in a strip mall, some jazz playing, and friendly staff. A few people came in for to go orders while we waited for our food. From social media and the prices it would appear the pancake stack could feed 2 people easily, but I was let down with no "wow" factor. I couldn't help thinking the size compared to fast food hot cakes. Taste was okay, the Orange was present, just nothing I would recommend anyone drive 40 minutes for. Hubby's waffle came a little after mine, no big deal. We share anyway. The waffle is huge, but chewy on the outside to the point of being tough and raw on the inside. The wings are lightly dusted, flavorful, and the highlight of the meal. They have a great concept and I wish them the best! Give them a try, you may love it.

The menu is somewhat limited. It features mostly salads and sandwiches. They offer a small selection of draft beers. Customers order at a counter and receive a stanchion to place on their table. Staff delivers food to the table once it is prepared. We shared a Vegan Chickpea Salad Sandwich with a Mozzarella Caprese Salad. The sandwich was served on toasted panini bread with a scoop of chickpea salad, lettuce, and tomato. They were busy with an after bell tower concert crowd, but the service was efficient and timely. I enjoyed the meal and recommend it to visitors.

The menu has a variety of food options to suit just about anyone from salads, sandwiches and baskets (chicken strips, grouper) and more. There are desserts as well as hard packed ice cream and coffee options including lattes and such. Bok Tower membership gives you a 10% discount and tipping is optional. Staff were very efficient and friendly and the dining area was clean. Beverage options included bottled drinks as well as fountain drinks. We were a group of 4 with a walker and a wheelchair, there was no real extra space for mobility devices but since most people were seated outside and we were indoors we were able to park the devices at the table next to us out of the way. I had the Avocado and Tuna salad (minus tomatoes) it comes with a nice vinaigrette, it was fresh and tasty with a nice portion of tuna salad atop the greens. The rest of my family had grouper bite basket with fries, smoked turkey and Gouda sandwich with chips, and the ham and Gruyère sandwich with upgrade to fries ( the sandwich was pressed panini style). Everyone enjoyed the choices and were satisfied with the portions. Most menu items seemed to be in the $15 range, our bill including 2 fountain drinks after discount and tip was just shy of $80. To go boxes are available if needed and they have disposable utensils. All and all a lovely meal.
