Was a $2 tipper and a 10 year customer. This manager at the drive up took the order and money for 4 Dbl.Ch. W/ the fries and lg. soda and lg. shake. Gave us the the shake, soda said pull up. This, is why Oh! Never again the shake had melt so it was being consumed while waiting on order. Two cars got orders after we had pulled ahead. The dum hop came by and was ask why we have not got the order and been here so long and have not got our order, she responded with a lack of concern or insensitivity as she mumbled get the manger. The manger comes to car to hear what he should know but I believe they forgot our order and he said they were putting order together be right out and went back inside. We now have drank the soda to wash down the shake got out of car to throw away cup and walked inside their hole in wall shak and the order was just being put together by the manger not the help meaning "He" and his so called team lost a order and a tipping customer to even that dum hop. 2x a wk x 6 mos a year. We had a pretty good stop at Druby's today. We came by for an afternoon treat. The serve was friendly and fast! Plus you can't beat the prices! Wow. I had a turtle sundae and onion rings. The rings were decent, not spectacular, and they forgot the ranch. The sundae was great, and I appreciated that the also put some toppings in the bottom! My husband loved the Buffalo chicken fingers, and his snowstorm was very good! We'd definitely stop again if we're in the area. read more

This place is now Original Burger, new ownership, we tried it for first time today. We had double cheeseburgers and shared a large order of onion rings, ordered the double cheeseburgers plain and well done. We don't want anything soggy , so add Helmans, lettuce and onion at home. Have to say the burgers were pretty darn good! Onion rings were good also, but was more impressed with the burgers. Had us park in the back (longggggg lineeee) , then brought our food to us, service with a smile , really appreciated a tip P.S. Had to come back to add another star a friend told me that Original Burger had possibly the best fries she had ever eaten!!! So naturally my husband and I went back to try the fries, even though we have not been big fans of french fries the last few years... Well I have to tell you, those fries were light, crispy, thin cut, lightly seasoned and absolutely delicious! The way they make the burger crisp ends and a thing burger is really good, the fries are great too. The 10 taco bag is delicious. The service is quick and friendly. Nice drive thru restaurant. Serves things like hamburgers, hotdogs, ice cream and a bunch more! Just make sure they hear your order correctly as they only heard part of the order. Got drinks and a paper bag. After we pulled away and got to the spillway to fish we only had one sandwich and one fried mushroom. No hot dog and no fries. We call this place Dummies! We have tried this place twice, once last year and again 12/4/2020 both times they messed the orders up! Last year after waiting about a half an hour they forgot I existed while I was standing indoors, they did however give us part of the order for free! This year we ordered a breaded Tenderloin and a Chicken sandwich, they got the condiments just backwards! I can see how because you can't tell one from another and neither one sticks out past the bun! DO NOT order the Tenderloin unless you like small cracker sandwiches. No frills local hamburger joint. Had double cheeseburger, fries and a medium chocolate shake. Hamburger texture is pretty light and patty was not cooked to the doneness that I prefer. Fries are good. Great local burger joint! You can drive through, eat in, or have them deliver. Some of the more popular items on the menu are the nachos, the taco salad, the horseshoe, and the Italian beef. My favorite is the Mexican fries! They have specials on large orders of tacos and burgers. Every week during the summer they have different flavors of soft serve ice cream. They're pretty fast even if there is a line. Definitely a good choice if you're hungry for a burger and want to eat local. read more

The burgers are great, I usually order a couple whenever I go. Small flat patties pressed on the grill, similar to steak and shake patties. Assembled carefully, you won't have a sandwich falling apart when they give them to you. A big part of any burger shack for me tho is the quality of the French fries. It's half the experience imo. They've had the same soggy/floppy crinkle cut fries for ever it seems. If I ever decide not to eat here, it is because the fries are not even worth ordering. I prefer a fry with some crunch to it, it shouldn't wiggle if I shake it. If they stepped up their fry game I think they'd get a lot more business. the ice cream is soft serve so not much beyond your expectation off simple old fashion soft service ice cream. We went to Druby's based on the recommendation of friends. The young man who took our order was friendly and inviting. The food arrived at our table at record time. However, the French fries were lukewarm and hard. The tenderloin was dark, chewy, and razor thin. The hamburger was also lukewarm. Looking back, we never heard a grill or deep fryer. Our suspicion was the food was made ahead of time and served less the fresh. We will drive past Druby's the next time we are hungry. read more

This place is great! We were looking for a non fast food, no chain kind of place to feed our 4 kids after a day on the lake. It's a little on the dive side once you go in, but the people are all very friendly and the food is cheap. We bought the burger/fries special for our kids, my husband had a burger/fries, and I had the tenderloin/ fries. Beware! The burger/fry special is a pound of fries, which was totally enough for all 6 of us. The adults did not even need to order fries! The kids loved their burgers (they looked tasty, like a Culver's or Steak 'n Shake burger). The fries are crinkled and hot. I would not order the tenderloin again, but I would definitely go back and try something else like their tacos. They have an interesting menu of tasty little things. Very disappointed. I read rave reviews, and figured I would try it, as I love hole in the wall burger joints. Once I got there, the style of burger "thin", the way the bun was prepped, everything looked spot on. As I got my order and was leaving, I asked the very nice young lady in there what cut of meat they used, as I was curious. I said 80/20? She said she wasn't sure, but that she knew it was purchased from a butcher in Decatur. When I got out to my truck, I took my first bite, and it was like a soy burger.
