I took it to cpr Meridian, and they fixed my phone in 2 hours charging me half what Forge Corners did. The CPR tech said, my phone was dirty, no corrosion had been cleaned, and nothing had been touched. Hence it only took a short time to fix, ie clean up the corrosion from the water damage. The response from Forge Corners? "...that's unfortunate..." "...our policy...."

I was constantly the one having to check in to see if they were making progress because they don't communicate whatsoever and also are incredibly incompetent. Don't waste your time or money on these clowns. I ended up having to take a broken PC after spending $150 on "service fees" along with the $350 for the part just because I didn't want to deal with them anymore. They're a joke and a scam. UPDATE: Go to LifeLine Repair in Boise. They solved all my problems within 24 hours. They were fantastic. The cleaning 4 corners pretended they were doing was going to take "at least a week" and LifeLine Repair did it within 3 hours. The only reason they are rated remotely high is because they pay Yelp to funnel their positive reviews to databases, look it up. Then run as fast as possible away from their store. It's laughable

I found Will to be very personable and VERY up on his technical knowledge, not only on printers (…read morewhich is what I called him for) but on all the ins and outs of my PC, the network and security issues and solutions. He streamlined my PC, fixed my printer, and set up more and better security than I had until then. Also, he charged me for fewer hours than he actually worked, which I appreciate. I would be happy to recommend him to anyone.

Was very happy with the service provided. He contacted me within 20 minutes of posting my problems…read morethat I was having over the phone and walked me through a couple of things I could do on my own and test if it worked since it was a time sensitive repair I needed (had tournaments to attend) that way I wouldn't even need to take it in. Unfortunately my pc had many more issues than I was able to solve on my own. The GPU from the factory was not well put together with WAY too much flux and thermal paste and the heat sink not even touching the component it was supposed to be taking heat from, cpu also had some similar problems and my ssd was also corrupt and had problems. Throughout the entire process he sent me pictures of the components before (showing the problem) and then after he had fixed it and he kept me in the loop on what he was doing. Not only did he get the computer to run but he improved it and optimized it removing all of the bloatware and 3rd party data collecting apps as well as adding a ssd cooler and resurfacing components for a better connection. I will definitely be going to him the next time I buy a pc to go through and nip the quality control issues at the factory in the bud and make sure its good BEFORE it becomes a big problem.

Please see the last paragraphs as they address the response he left on Google which is even more…read moredamning for his (they are lying about being women-owned, a man owns it) business. These laptops are not sourced ethically, they run scams in order to purchase them. He promised to buy my laptop at full price on Facebook. He then used his fingernail to put multiple deep scratches in the screen and tried to lowball me after damaging my laptop. When he closed it, he did it so hard that something snapped internally. He ran away when I called the police and unfortunately they don't have the resources to pursue this. Not sure how much im out yet but I definitely can't sell it in this condition. If you see these people or this car when selling something run the other way, you will have your stuff destroyed. Luckily he was dumb enough to tie his business name to his scams, so I can warn others. They sell laptops at literally triple their market value. And they still feel the need to use dishonest business practices to make their 300% profit margins even bigger. Edit to address his response: it's normal to be nervous when someone is holding your property and clearly trying to pull something. I just wanted my laptop back, but he refused to give it to me. The "damage beyond what we would sell" was shown in the second photo and was why the laptop was so cheap and worth reselling for him, I even asked if he looked at the photos before handing it to him to avoid this very scam. My reaction was "rehearsed" because this guy is not the first person to think of damaging an item and lowballing me. It is a very, very common scam I'm aware might happen when I hand over an item without payment (and has happened to me before), so I know how to mitigate the risk. Ill let the rest of his response speak for himself. I've added the second photo to the review so everyone can see what he agreed to buy. Also, "you break it, you buy it" is not coercion, it is a very basic rule of life P.S. he originally tried to lure me to his store (proof added) so he does not even believe in "meet in a neutral location", I was the one to demand we meet somewhere safe. I just saw "up to the full 200" in his first message which is all but proof he intended this scam, original plan was probably to get me to drive 30 min then lowball me and use the "up to" wording to justify it legally.

We quickly agreed on a time for Paul to come to my house and help. I was apprehensive since my own computer expertise is not extensive. Paul took the time to give me some background he saw I needed and then backed up my material. As he said, he likes to teach people how to fish so they can later take care of their own needs. He also checked my security system and reset my google password. What impressed me was his patience and genuine concern for the task. When I later had a question related to what we had done, I emailed him. He quickly responded with the information I needed. I would definitely call him again for further assistance.
