I really don't have a lot to say about Orkin, even tho I had a contract in NY with them for years. Everyone was very nice. Ready to accomplish whatever I needed done. There was a Missed understanding. Inspector assured me I had bed bugs. When the manager came over with his crew he said I didnt and he did not know what I had. UPDATE--Jennifer Smith from Orkin saw my review and immediately corrected the problem and refunded the money to my credit card. She was amazing, and now I would be happy to recommend Orkin since the people who came to spray at my house were also very nice and very helpful. I signed up for one year of service to be billed monthly. The service would be performed every other month. I did not want to continue for another year, so I called before the last service and the last payment to say that. Then I got billed extra for the last service, so I called to point that out and was yelled at and threatened with being sent to collections if I didn't pay. The service providers were great, but the service is very expensive and then to be charged extra to not renew it and to be yelled at by the person you call for help makes this company one to avoid. read more

Blown away by the quality of service, professionalism, and genuine care from start to finish! My son was set to discharge from the hospital until a sudden swarm of extremely aggressive wasps took up residence across the entire front of our house, dive bombing anyone (including vehicles) that approached. Needless to say, I couldn't bring my son home until the wasps were gone and I was desperate! I called Orkin about 1-2pm and asked if there was ANY way possible someone could come out to our house same day (website states to call before noon for same day service so I didn't get my hopes up). I explained our situation and the woman who took my call (I don't recall her name) was so compassionate and hurried to squeeze us in the schedule. She was so kind and worked hard to fit us in! The tech (Lucas H/ Luke) was equally wonderful! He was able to come out sooner than expected and worked with us remotely from the hospital and made the whole process REALLY easy! One of the things that stuck out to me was how friendly he was - his happy energy was palpable and he was so personable. And not only did he take care of the wasps so we could come home, but he treated the whole perimeter of our house for spiders/ other insects which I was soooo appreciative of! Did not expect that, especially since we were squeezed in between other clients. Luke really went above and beyond, did a great job, and had excellent communication the entire way. This was our first time using Orkin and I LOVE that they stand behind their work with a 30-day guarantee so if the wasps come back in the next month, they'll come out for free!!!! I was impressed with the level of communication from the company as well - I received updates on when the tech was on his way AND when he arrived to include his name and photo which I think is an excellent safety measure! 100/10all the way around! I had a Orkin Termite Free inspection. Anthony, the inspector, was professional, thurough, informative. We thought we might have termites luckly it was just ants, he explained signs of termites and showed me pictures of this on his tablet. Great communication of his arrival time! Anthony did not try to sell me treatment that I did not need, he did explain other services that Orkin had to offer without high pressure for me to commit. read more

A tech came out on Monday, August 4, 2024. Stated he needed to have an expert bug tech out to identify the ants (duh) in the attic. Went onto my deck and observed carpenter ants headed up to the beam which goes into my great room. Long story-short, they never contacted me to reschedule. Very unprofessional. read more

I requested an inspection they went and set up a treatment plan with price when all I wanted was an inspection so I could know what I was dealing with I followed the guy everywhere no inspection done but says he did a thorough inspection I had things for him to look at but he didn't he said I may have mites may be dirt lol so basically I'm ready to throw everything away still didn't get answers!!! Our technician Dave was very considerate to call us after 8:00 am to tell us that they had double booked him so he would be at our house after 9:30 am. When he came he checked the house out first and I suggested that he come in and out of the garage. He pointed out a gap in the rubber on the bottom of the garage door where he said mice and other creatures could come in through. I told him we had that rubber replaced recently so I would call them and complain about the installation. Dave was very knowledgeable and had a great friendly personality. I highly recommend their services because last time I had my house fumigated I hired Terminix and was not satisfied with their service. read more

Horrible customer service. Very disorganized company. Schedules visit then cancels at the last minute. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. No regard for working people, they expect you to change your schedule to suit theirs. read more

I knew my house had a history of termite activity when I bought it, so I wasn't surprised when we found them 2 years later. I called Orkin who scheduled a tech to come out at a time that fit my schedule. Our tech was AWESOME! He was unable to make our original appointment due to a scheduling error, so he took the time to call me and reschedule. He did a thorough inspection and gave me a quote, and booked a time to take care of the termites all in our free estimate, he also told me what needed to be taken care of to prep and what to expect the day of our appointment. Our service took about 7 hours, this included taking care of the termites where we'd found them, laying down whatever chemical they use in the crawl space and all around the outside of the house, and patching any holes he'd made. We were able to stay in the house during the service and there was no odor. Our tech followed up the following week to make sure there was no new activity and my house is under warranty if there are future issues, which I don't anticipate. read more
