I called last Wednesday for someone to come take care of an animal in our attic. It is now 7 days later and I still haven't gotten a call to schedule anyone to come out. FYI, I called this past Monday to let them know and still no call back. To add, we're also clients of theirs. I will be canceling our service. read more

Absolutely terrible service. They never communicated well with when they were coming, never fixed my bug issue that was happening for over a year, and then kicked my 11 month old puppy on their last service. Awful. Never use them. read more

Used Orkin in San Diego for many years with no problems. Moved to Tulsa, OK, and they can't seem to kill the bugs. I have a newly built house, I am the first owner. When I called to have them come out again, the person taking calls, Mary, said she would have the GM call me, but he never did, then tried to upsell me on services that I do not need or want. Orkin has not contacted me on the issues or rescheduled service. Please refund all payments and cancel my agreement. read more

My girlfriend has been using this company for around 8 months I believe. They've come inside the house twice to spray. We ONLY NEED THEM TO SPRAY FOR ROACHES. However, they keep coming by when we are not home and spray OUTSIDE INSTEAD OF INSIDE, yet keep trying to charge us. About twenty minutes ago, they sprayed the outside of the house again, didn't knock, didn't call, nothin. Yet they left another hanger on the door saying, "sorry we missed you." I had a late night fright then called the 866 number. While it was late (after 1 am) I was able to reach a service relay to get scheduling to call me during working hours. I had requested a specific time for the call back because I'm not a morning person most days and Orkin submitted to my specifically timed call request. Once I was called by Orkin (as I understood) a free general bug inspection was offered where if anything was found pricing would be gauged upon infestation. My questions were answered with good customer service during the call and the prices were reasonable since I certainly don't have the patience, diligence, and know how to solve bug invasions. read more

Wanted to charge us every month but only came out every other month. Then when asked they said they charge us the months they don't come out in case we need a touch up. 5 months before they told us why we get charged on months they don't come out. Then when we tried to cancel they try to tell us no we will try this first. How about NO you don't tell me what I'm gonna do. Then they say they will charge our bank account whether we ok it or not. That didn't happen and your threats didn't scare us. read more

I really like orkin i have used them before . but this time around it seems like the roaches are worse. turn on the lights during the night and it creepy seeing all the roaches scatter. we should have seen results the first time and the second time. now they tell me it is normal for them to that be active. it creepy seeing them during the day and all over my house inside and out.. they procreate like rabbits and mice .. i just want some results. read more

I have to say I am very disappointed in their customer service. I have been using Orkin for many years. I called regarding an issue with maggots and was transferred 3 times/on hold for a very long time. When I was finally transferred to a branch manager, I told her what happened and she said they cannot help at all and was very rude. However, on the website they state "Call your Orkin Pest Control branch office and set up an inspection of your home. A highly trained Orkin Pest Specialist will conduct a thorough inspection and, after assessing the issue, develop a customized treatment plan that best fits you." I asked if someone could come out and at least look at the situation and the representative rudely said they wouldn't be able to. Canceling my program with Orkin. read more

We called them out for a pest control problem. W asked on the phone for a worst case scenario quote and they said $300 to 500.00. They said inspection is $105 but there website says free quote. So we guessed the phone quote was free part. They get to the house and the quote is now over 2000.00. We said well what if you just spray the one room. It is $650.00 but no guarantee so w every time we come back it is $650.00. What a rip off! They get you coming and going. We took care of the problem ourself for much less than the 1 room quote. Would never use them! Buyer beware or you have money you like to just give away! They want an annual contract or nothing. read more

About ready to cancel again. Chris is our regular exterminator but we still have ants and larger insects going through our living room especially at night. Tiny grey bugs crawling on my birthday cards again after 6/1 service, spiders. I have Asperger's and mail cards with surprises to autistic children. Lots of the grey bugs in our trash cans and ants going into our mailbox. Why?? Is that normal? read more

I am over a month in and still have the pest problem I paid almost $1,500 to be resolved. I keep being told their additional treatment items are on back order. I would never go with Orkin, again. a family member hired another company for an identical issue and has had zero problems, since then. I had more pests, within 12 hours of what was supposed to be a comprehensive treatment. I cannot undue paying them because that is required up-front, but this is an expensive lesson. I hope I can save someone else throwing their money away. read more

We had termites...no one wants to hear that. We called Orkin for a quote. They came out the same day to provide an estimate and Jason the technician was very thorough. It wasn't cheap, but neither was the other estimate and it was done right. I feel confident that we no longer have an issue and the work is guaranteed. The tech that came out to perform the work did an excellent job and cleaned up nicely as well which I appreciate. Thank you for fixing our issue! We would definitely recommend. read more

Awful customer service! Took off work twice for scheduled appointments to have the Service Technician not show up. Called the Tulsa Office, never able to speak to someone directly, left countless messages never to get a return call. Finally called their main office to be transferred to Carol in the Tulsa Office....she could not have been and more uncaring and rude. Then got John who is the Service Technician Manager....he was even worse than Carol. Left numerous messages for Chris Gibbons (Branch Manager).....never received a call back. Canceled our service. Glad to be rid of such an unprofessional company. Avoid this company!!!!! read more

I would never recommend Orkin, first they don't tell you that they just go 3 ft from your house, after that they charge more. Next they don't spray for everything, I have earwigs and ants, guess what still have them eachon the I would call telling them that they are still in my house one lady said I would be charged again another month a lady said that I would have a technician at my house the following week at no charge. Well guess what no one showed up, suprise. This Orkin is a big joke, been with them for almost 3 months and it's horrible, customer service knows that I can't have my cellphone on me due to my job to email me so I have someone at my house and NO they still freaking call me. Do you not put notes in the computer because each and every time I call you guys I tell you that I can't be reached at my job by phone to email me. I hate this place and now I am stuck in a contract and still have ants and earwigs. read more

I'm glad my first review is over this awful company. The only thing that makes my skin crawl more than the bed bugs, is how awful the service is from orkin. I called them last week and was transferred 3 times to 3 people until being told that someone from orkin would contact me back within the afternoon. I gave them my cell phone and email. It is now 5 days later and I still have not been contacted. All I wanted was an over the phone estimate to see if I would go with this company or not. If the technician arrived when scheduled, the service was effective. However, I generally had to call two or three times to get anyone to return my call. Once a service was scheduled, the agreed upon date and time were rarely adhered. While my technician may have attempted communication, the main office of Orkin generally communicated excuses and limitations. After receiving poor customer service for 6 months, I found a new pest control and called to cancel Orkin. After receiving the runaround about cancellation, I was put through to the Service Manager, Dan. Presumably, in an attempt to retain me as a customer, Dan demonstrated why his branch of Orkin is so incredibly inept at customer service. He chose to belittle me as a customer instead of taking responsibility for poor customer service. I would have been content to simply cancel the service and move on, without writing reviews or commenting on my experience, but my final experience with the service manager was, without a doubt, a customer service experience that should serve as a warning to others seeking a pest control service. read more
