I had the greatest customer service experience with Marissa! I was taking care of my step dads appointment and was hit with a situation a I didnt understand. Marissa knew what was needed to be done with the insurance and the general dentist office and first she able to explain it to me what was going on and second she went ahead and took care of the situation for me. I had a minor incident that brought me to Orlando Oral and Facial Surgery. I was able to get a consultation very quickly and the surgery was a few days later. The friendliness and efficiency of the staff was very impressive. You will love the front office staff. Their offices are extremely clean and I was completely comfortable throughout my experience. There is a list of doctors and I went with Dr. Avery Goldberg. I was pleased by his bedside manner and loved his assistant. On the day of surgery Dr. Goldberg entered the room very confident and relaxed. His assistant set everything up and was wonderful. I fell asleep quickly and felt no pain. Afterwards pain medication and antibiotics were waiting for me at my pharmacy. They run a tight ship and I highly recommend them. read more

I cracked a tooth in half this week and unfortunately the tooth could not be saved and I was referred to Dr. Goldberg's office by our primary dentist who I've been going to for 16 years. Dr. Goldberg was in no rush and took his time explaining the process for the tooth extraction and the options for replacement. The office staff was professional and provided the cost for each option and what insurance would cover and pay for and also printed the pricing options so I could take them with me. The next day after reviewing the options I scheduled the surgery for the following day and when I arrived I wasn't keep waiting for a long time which was really nice. In a very short time I was in the dentist chair and Angela was prepping me for the extraction. Within about 15 minutes Dr. Goldberg came in and reviewed the extraction process with me again and then began removing the tooth. Having a tooth removed is probably somewhat stressful for most all of us and I was a little surprised that I didn't have any pain during the extraction. Within about 30 minutes I was out of the dentist chair and saying to myself "wow that was a smooth process". I want to mention the cost for the surgery was exactly what Dr. Goldberg's office quoted with no surprise upcharges or additional fees. There was a short recovery process and I was caught off guard and really surprised when I received a follow up call from Dr. Goldberg that night asking me how I was doing. My Previous dentist unsucessful attempt to extract my tooth made me to get an appointment with Dr. Goldberg, Dental Surgeon. Incredible practice! I'm normally highly anxious at the dentist, I communicated to them that I'm the anxious type, and right away Dr. Goldberg made sure to talk me through what he was doing, remind me to breathe, etc. Also - he is super gentle and efficient! There was literally zero waiting time - fastest, most gentle, and most efficient tooth extraction I've ever had. Office staff is incredibly friendly, easy to work with, and quick to return messages. One last huge bonus - they make sure there are no insurance surprises! I give Dr. Whitman and his Lake Mary staff 5 stars plus. They were amazing. My son had 4 wisdom teeth removed without any issues and minimal pain. They were fantastic. My issues is with the main billing office in Winter Park. We are due a refund, and we keep getting the runaround. For 4 months, now, we have heard one excuse after another. Pam is extremely rude to deal with on the phone, and will not return phone calls as promised. I have spoken with both insurance companies, and everything has been processed and finalized, but we are still having issues getting our refund. I was promised a return call a month ago, and I am still waiting. Pam's lack to follow through is unprofessional and raises many red flags. read more

I had three wisdom teeth extracted today and the procedure was quick with no issues. He is very thorough and does a great job explaining complications/treatments and post-surgery care. My insurance company referred me to this office after a fiasco I had with Orlando and Facial Surgery of West Orlando (Dr Brecino). I came here first for a consult, than to get my wisdom teeth surgery. I loved them! The staff was extremely friendly, and my doctor was the nicest, most caring person. He listened to all my concerns and answered all my questions, looking me in the eye the entire time. Him and his staff explained in detail how the surgery would go, and what I should be prepared for afterwards. After the consult I went to the receptionist who gave me a quote break down sheet of all the costs of surgery, the insurance coverage, and then what I'm expected to pay. She explained the whole break down to me as well and gave me a copy to bring home. The cost they gave me was HALF of what the other surgeon wanted to charge. I was so relieved to find a professional establishment who knew what they were doing and knew how to treat the patients. As for my surgery - it was AMAZING. Very clean, easy, and with little swelling. They took great care of me, and gave me all the tools I needed to recover at home.
