We called Ethan's Pool Care and he sent out Josh from JPR Pool Repair…read more Josh had to borrow a socket to take the panel off, said his truck was in the shop and was on hold with his bank while he disputed their "fees". Anyway, my three pool lights were not coming on and were different colors and I wanted to be able to control them. Josh said it was the "circuit board"... Big $$. So I upgraded to the Hayward Omnilogic board to work from my phone app. When "finished", the solar and the waterfall didn't work because Josh didn't know the board needed a separate transformer to operate. When he left, the pool shot up to 98 degrees! I had to turn the power off to the heater. After a week, the transformer was still not even ordered... I already got three different explanations as to why from Josh, so the forth I decided to part ways and call someone else. I ended up watching HOURS of youtube videos and ended up ordering a transformer off of Amazon. However Josh "kept" the wiring harness from the circuit board that went to the transformer... and FIVE phone calls to Ethan and Josh just to get the wiring harness back!!! Both Ethan and Josh have BULL-SH#T as their first language!! After I installed the transformer, I got the waterfall and solar to work. But once I turned the heater back on... through youtube videos I learned Josh hooked up the REMOTE heater wire to the SEN4 on the board instead of the correct LV1 below it... this caused the heater to NOT WORK in remote mode, and intermittently run on it's own. I also "learned" the light he ordered was NOT the same as the other two, so I still don't have lights that all operate the same!!! GRRRRRR! I'd advise everyone to STAY AWAY from Ethan and Josh! Thank goodness for the folks that post on YOUTUBE!!!

I once had a house cleaner show up, hoping for a nice, once a year, thorough cleaning. She cleaned with one hand, while talking on her phone with the other. Why am I telling you this? Maybe just to illustrate that the old axiom "It's tough to find good help these days," is alive and well on the Space Coast. Or maybe I just want to draw a contrast between crappy service and the incredible 5-star service I've been getting from Space Coast Pools. I think this guy deserves at least 3 stars just for showing up when he says he will and for being communicative beyond what I expected. He earned the other 2 after the fact. I first called Space Coast Pools, and several other Pool Maintenance companies, all of whom I had to leave messages for. (Understood in that I called during the day, when I'm sure they were busy working.) Brandon called me back within an hour. Only one other company even called me back at all and that was several days later. When I ended my call with Space Coast Pools, Brandon thanked me for "the opportunity to 'earn' his business." I think my heart skipped a beat. On our initial meeting my pool looked like a FROG SWAMP. It would not have surprised to see an alligator. Brandon didn't hesitate. He added some things to my pool (without any kind of agreement or contract), gave me a good quote for service and promised to be back Tuesday (it was Saturday) to inspect his work and continue service. Again he thanked me for "the opportunity to 'earn' his business." The very next day our pool was gorgeous. Since then, the pool has never been less than crystal clear and inviting. Plus Brandon remains punctual, polite, and communicative beyond expectation. The only reason I would ever stop using Space Coast Pools is if I die or move to a house without a pool. Even then I might call them!
