I showed the installer how to turn the glass around and upside down to hide the defect instead of waiting for a new panel. It is almost one year old and leaks in a corner of the shower. I called them and it was like they wanted me to beg them to come out and fix it. After about 5 minutes on the phone and listening to the sales person ask me to ask her again to send someone out to fix it, I replied each time, I'm not going to beg you to fix it, you can fix it or not. If you don't, I guess I'll fix it. Literally 3 times I said i won't beg you to fix it, she said, I don't want to be talked to that way, I replied, then tell me you're going to send someone out to fix it, she replied once again, do you want me to send someone out to fix it? Ugghh, Sometimes it's just easier to accept that customer service is dead and just fix the dang thing myself.

We had just purchased a 1960 Nash Metropolitan that had a small chip in the windshield, which we…read morewanted to have repaired to ward off any further cracking or damage to the windshield in the future. We contacted several automotive glass repair places in the DSM area and no one was willing to repair the chip. Glass Doctor said "Sure bring it on in!" We drove an hour there and they explained that because it was the original windshield in the car, which obviously was an antique, there was always the chance that the glass could shatter while repairing it. We felt confident enough in their abilities to have them go ahead and fix it, which they did with no problems! And the price was very, very reasonable! All of the employees there were very nice, very knowledgeable and very friendly. If we ever need future work done to any of our vehicle windows, we will definitely go to Glass Doctor of Des Moines!
