AZ Pest Control did the most comprehensive inspection of my home and told me where they found a colony outside that was making it's way into my house. I hired them immediately and they sprayed inside, outside, and come by every other month to spray, granulate the grounds, and check any other issues. Last year I got a call telling me they saw termite activity outside and I needed to get it treated. Mind you - I did have it treated by a different company the prior year who I'm pretty sure stole my money and did nothing. There was no record of them treating my house which they're required to report to the state. So again I hired Arizona Pest Control. We installed a treatment system and all has been fine since. Communication is great. I know when the tech is coming with email reminders, day of texts, and get emailed the report immediately after. They keep the outside from coming inside which provides my bug phobic self a lot of peace.

This has happened 3 months in a row and my calls and emails go ignored. Despite great pest control, the billing department is causing me to terminate my account. Amendment to review. I spoke with Debbie at the local office. Apparently the problem was with the "800" call center. She resolved the issue immediately, corrected the misinformation given by the call center AND flagged my account so future calls go to the local office. So, between Debbie's amazing customer service and Juan's courteous and detail-oriented work as the Technician, I have resolved to stay with the company.

All of the previous five star reviews for this business looked authentic. I submitted the project, using Yelp, to multiple businesses. Out of all the businesses that the project was sent to for the termite treatment, this was the only one that had a good follow up. All other businesses were like "call this number" or "visit this website". Desert Shield replied, via Yelp, and offered to drop by the very next day and asked for my address. Eric showed up the next day at the agreed time. He confirmed my worries about the lines being termite tubes. He pointed out a few more that I did not see. Eric explained the treatment process, gave me a quote, and had me scheduled via text by the end of the day for him to return for the treatment. The quote for the service was far cheaper than what my buddies told me they paid for similar services. And yes, this treatment comes with a five year warranty. They had to drill through a couple pavers to do the treatment. Eric placed the drill holes in the grout lines to better hide the holes. While it is pretty impossible to completely hide the holes after they're filled, I think he did a heck of a job and gave a great effort. Time will tell about how good the quality is of Desert Shield's product and process. However, I feel pretty confident I trusted the right guys for my termite treatment. Their previous reviews did not lie. This company was punctual, incredibly friendly, appeared knowledgeable, arguably cost effective, and communicated efficiently and without stress. I have already told friends and coworkers to let me know if they need termite treatment so I can refer these guys. If you are searching for termite treatment, your search is over. The HVAC is an awkward place, but even I have been there and I'm 82, so there is no excuse. The contract says 2 or 3 outside traps. I only got one. The guy was supposed to see me on Fri AM 12/20 but didn't show or call. I'm probably wrong but this doesn't look like an adequate job and certainly not worth $425. I've been a customer since 4/22.
