Should I try and win the Bronze Medal at the Olympics, to match my skin colour? Or-a-gold? This is a cosmetics store inside the mall at Baybrook. I understand the need to get customers but I'm surprised that the Mall lets people run around the Mall thoroughfares and physically accost girls by forcibly putting makeup on their faces. Kinda shocking. Some people like it, but I get the feeling most people don't, cuz the majority of people I know are consistently complaining about this kind of thing in some malls. So my suggestion would be that they ask such stores to not employ such tactics, but then maybe it's the only way they stay in business, how do I know. Perhaps they can offer them financial incentives to not do this, then the Mall gets to be a better place to shop, and the store doesn't lose much money. I personally am way more likely to take Barbie to a place that doesn't employ this tactic. read more

Oh. My. Gosh. Walk on the other side of the hall away from these crazy women!!!! I need to first state that I had absolutely no intention of entering Orogold Cosmetics until I was accosted by one of their employees, led into the shop, and the woman literally wanted to wipe a myriad of cosmetics on my face. When I said no and tried to walk away, she grabbed my hand, put some sort of exfoliant all over it, and said, "I don't want to be rude, but I saw your face and you need this." Um. Really!?! At that point I told her that I was planning a vacation and could not afford anything in the shop. She then asked, "Are you ok with your face looking like that?" Yes. She legit looked me in the eyes and asked me that. I said I was fine with my face and left. I wish that was all! My husband, the brave man that he is, took my youngest to get dipping dots and was accosted as well! The same woman tried to get HIM into the cosmetic shop, too! I guess his face needed to be fixed as well. Seriously, unless you want to be man handled by women in public, walk on the other side of the mall! Unless, of course, you actually need your face fixed. She rubbed some type of exfoliator on my hand, and when it was wiped off, it had the same look and texture as dried up Elmer's glue. Immediately after suckering me into purchasing her "good deal" she threw another salesman on me because of my "dry" eyes. Again, he offered me an impeccable deal, even showing me FAKE receipts to prove the business' solid foundation. The products smelled like gasoline and the hand product caused an allergic reaction. I was walking around the mall and an Orogold Kiosk stopped me to try some samples. I usually dont use any products for myself but I decided to give it a try.. To my own surprise, I ended up buying a few of the mens orogold products. I bought the mens aftershave balm which smells amazing and feels great! I would recommend these products to anyone their great! I think they have something going for themselves. I would definitely buy again and try out some of their other products. read more

I was bullied!! They ran out and grabbed me, before I knew it Giovanni had cream on my face and was telling me how good it looked! He said he was Italian. He told me the price for the two eye creams and that he would give me a discount. I liked the feel of the creams so I agreed. He then went and got another bottle, for the face peeling, again at a discount. He went on and on and on and I had a previous engagement so I bought what he suggested at the discount price, then he told me to come back for a "special" facial. When I checked the receipt after I got home, it was for 50 more than what he had told me, not including tax. I tried the creams and they were ok, pricey. When I went back for the facial it was to try and sell me more products, to the tune of $1700!! After I told them that I didn't see any benefits or changes to my skin, Giovanni and the woman that did the facial just turned away from me. No thanks for coming in, hope you come back... NOTHING!!! By the way, I kept the original creams. They are ok and I didn't feel like hassling with them. One thing, I didn't appreciate the lies they told me. Giovanni is not Italian and the lady said she was from France but while they were doing the "facial" they spoke in Arabic. You can the get the same products at Amazon at less than what these scammers are charging. read more

These people will tell you anything to get your money then refuse to stand behind their products. They will lie to you and tell you that you can return the product (which I did within 24 hrs) and they will become extremely rude and nasty and refuse to refund anything!! They DO NOT display their return policy or bother to explain it to you, it is on the bottom of the receipt after they run your card. Crooks and liars all! They also tell you that one of their 'cosmetologist to the stars' is in town for a few days only, but they just happen to have an opening for a facial for you (yes, I fell for it), none of them are licensed for anything but maybe driving a car. They have bad reviews all over the internet for their unethical sales practices and refusal to back their products up. I bought a product for my daughters 13th birthday, being a father I had no idea what I was buying, but she usually returns the items I purchase anyway. I spent $193.00 on facial cleaner and moisturizer on November 24, 2015. Her birthday was December 1, 2015 approximately one week later. After seeing the product she said it was junk and to return it, I got ripped off. I work by the mall, so on Thursday, December 3rd I attempted to return the items unopened, unused. They refused stating that their return policy is 7 days. To add insult to injury, they declared that even if they were to return it, there would be a 20% restocking fee. Really to put a bottle on a shelf? Really? Nevertheless, Steer clear of this place they have no ethics. I have since googled the company and understand why my daughter didn't want the product. I was duped. Please stay away. They can put shiny new stores in that Baybrook Mall, but until they get rid of the bogus retailers it will remain a dump. Nothing has changed at this mall except an expansion of more scam artists. Save yourself the trouble and go to the Galleria. read more
