I've been a patient since 2009. Invisalign, twice yearly check ups for cleaning and today for a crown and filling. The staff always treats me with extreme care and all of them are cordial and professional. They always call to let me know if they have an earlier appointment than what I've scheduled. For over 10 years I've been a patron of Orsatti Dental and had nothing but exceptional service. Today, I showed up for my scheduled cleaning and was greeted, as always, by Amanda. I love that she always knows my name and what time my appointment is when I get there! I also love the calls or texts I get as reminders of my appointment or to notify of an opening of I'm interested in coming earlier. My cleaning was with a new hygienist, Sam. I still miss Martha, but Sam, I believe, is her clone. Like Martha, he is professional, knowledgeable, kind, and has exceptional chairside manners.....and he knows about "2 Phones" The establishment is always clean and classy. The employees are always professional, courteous and knowledgeable about what they do. I have never had to wait more than five minutes in the waiting room before I'm called back to the service room. Oh ... this makes me sad. I went to Orsatti Dental for almost 20 years and had always been very happy there, until this debacle. I was there 9/13/22 for routine cleaning and exam. I had been having pain intermittently while eating for about a month. The dentist told me that I had two cracked molars. He told me eventually the teeth would break and then I should come in for crowns. I was terrified. "Won't that hurt?", I asked him. He agreed that it could be very painful. He suggested I hoard some of the narcotics I was given for my broken foot in case it happened on a weekend or while I was on vacation. What the heck? This sounded super crazy. Over the next 2 months the pain while eating got worse and more frequent. I was upset that the dentist told me I had to wait for them to break. My husband called our insurance company and they told me to go get it fixed right away. So, I returned to Orsatti Dental early December. They told me that yes I could get the crowns but there's a possibility I'd now need root canals. The dentist at this visit also told me that the X-rays I had in September also showed a cavity. Good grief, I hadn't had a cavity in forever. Well, I was a little upset that they saw a cavity on xray in September and didn't even tell me about it. Their excuse was that they had spent so much time addressing the cracked teeth. Meanwhile the cavity is likely getting worse. Ugh. So, they did the first part of making the crowns and sent me to an endodontist to assess for possible root canals. The endodontist said that I definitely needed two root canals and that the infection was so bad that I needed to be on strong antibiotics for a week before she could do it. What a nightmare. I feel that if the dentist I had seen in September had dealt with my dental care in a timely manner, I may not have needed the root canals. It gets worse. The endodontist that they sent me to was "out of network" for my insurance and my insurance company does not want to cover any of the fees. $2400!!!! WHY would they send me to someone out of network? Why didn't anyone review the insurance coverage with me? I'm expected to be an insurance expert too. I've moved to a different state. Love my new dental office. I'm sad to say that I'm not at all pleased with my final experience with Orsatti Dental. I've always told them to be proactive with dental procedures because I never want a root canal or any serious dental problems. They totally blew me off on this one. I'd give them 5 stars for 19 years and 0 for the last 6 months. I guess as long as your teeth are perfect, they'll treat you right. read more

I stopped in this morning for my routine cleaning and just thought I should comment on this delightful practice. I started going here about 15 years ago and since then I have brought on my wife and my two boys AS SOON as they turned 18. This morning was the usual protocol; the wonderful Amanda somehow greeted me by name even though I walked into a mostly full waiting room. Sat for just a moment and then I was called back quickly along with all the others as we went to our various hygienists. Today I was treated by Kristina, and my gosh was she great! One of the most thorough cleanings I have ever received (and they are all good at Orsatti Dental) She was very professional, but we also chatted on a light personal level getting to know each other a bit as the cleaning progressed. Dr. Matt Orsatti (who I have known since he was four months out of dental school- I think I was his first veneer!) popped his head in and greeted me as if we were old friends. He was his usual friendly but thorough self as well. On the way out the front office patiently went through my options for a night guard I was considering and even worked with my insurance to give me the best price possible. No upselling at Orsatti, just what you need. One thing I love about this team is Dr. Orsatti Sr's time-honored technique of delivering the numbing agent to minimize pain. He takes his time to slowly administer the fluid so it's numbing as it goes in rather than just an abrupt, sharp stab like I have experienced at other offices. This technique takes a minute longer but it really takes the sting out of shots. He has obviously passed this method down to the other dentists at the office. It may take more time for the dentist but less pain, by far, for the patient. Great seeing him this morning just checking in as well. Family run, family feel, and this is why they are so good! The best Dentist ever! I have my yearly cleaning done as well as my clear braces. Today was my last day with them! After 1 year and 4 months later I'm going to be in retainers for minor adjustments then on to the retainers. Super amazing staff and super friendly! From the time you check in you are welcome to drinks and snacks. After your appointment the staff that check you out are great. Never had a complaint or concern. The dentist can't give a shot correctly. My Daughter's face swelled up right after she gave it to her. Now she has a giant bruise on her face. Dr Andrade said "it's from the trauma from all the dental work"but she hadn't even started the fillings yet. I am now doubting that she even needed these filled. I will never go back there. We went to another dentist who did confirm the shot was given into a blood vessel. read more

Watch your billings here! I had to make them remove a $118 charge that had no explanation whatsoever and they couldn't explain it to me either. On top of that, instead of finding out why the insurance company underpaid them, they just charged me which they're not allowed to do. While i was recently reimbursed partially for my over payments for 2017, I'm still fighting with them to get the rest of 2017 as well as years past over payments made by me. I finally had to sick the insurance company on them. I've spent hours reconciling their mess. Their billing inadequacies should not be my problem. read more

I went to Orsatti Dental yesterday after not going to the dentist for admittedly 2 years. The office was beautiful and I was greeted immediately. I did not have to wait at all and was immediately brought back for my cleaning to begin. As most dental offices are now, everything is done electronically (which I love) and they even had a little dental FAQ video playing above me as I was getting my teeth clean. The office itself was beautiful, well decorated (not that that matters when having your teeth cleaned), and very clean! The dental hygienist, Martha, did a wonderful job cleaning my teeth and was very thorough...I feel like I can actually see a difference. Dr. Knox saw me shortly after my cleaning was complete. She was very friendly, knowledgeable, and explained everything very well to me. Overall I was more than impressed with the office, staff, and doctor. The Orsatti Dental Group truly makes you feel like family. From the minute that I walked through the door as a new patient, I felt comfortable and welcomed. This eased my anxiety tremendously as I had not seen a dentist in over two years (dental phobia much?) and already knew some damage had been done. Dr. Matt Orsatti performed my initial evaluation when I came in for tooth pain and confirmed my fears--I would need my wisdom teeth removed. He was so calm and gentle about breaking the news and didn't make me feel the least bit ashamed for not having removed them earlier. Dr. Valdez performed the extraction which was a breeze! Thank God for the oral sedation services they provide! Post op instructions were thorough and helped to prevent the development of any dry sockets. After I was all healed, I had my comprehensive check up with Dr. Andrade who suggested a procedure to re shape my gums and give me what I've wanted my whole life--larger teeth! The procedure took about two hours, and the results were amazing! The pain was minimal, and I was back to work the next day for a 24h call. Dr. Andrade even followed up with me over the weekend to check on my progress. And finally, enough cannot be said about all of the amazing staff, dental assistants, and dental hygienists at the ODG! The fear of dentistry was exemplified with my experience at Orsatti Dental. The 1st appointment with Dr. Matt wasn't bad. The out come was that I needed to get a root canal and a crown. So I fixed an appointment for the procedure. However Dr. Matt couldn't do it and Dr. Sanchez started the root canal. She seemed unsure from the very start. Asking the nurse what the next step would be. She injured the right cheek while giving the anesthesia. When I started complaining that I was shivering and shaking she stopped and said I needed to go to another doctor, root canal specialist. The injury she caused my cheek resulted in me suffering from fever and infection missing 4 days of work. On top of it all I had to pay $1700 to the specialist to get her botched job fixed. Since I had already paid them for $1370 for the procedure I decided to give them another chance and get the frown done. After emailing Dr. Matt he said that he will personally do the procedure and adjust the cost of the crown $1210 with what I paid. They owe me $160. When I went back to get my crown today they billed me again. Lost my cool and left. Now I need my $1370 back. Humanity is at the lowest everywhere you look especially in the medical field. All they thing about is making money off of their patients. I had heard such great things about this place from friends but I ended up having the WORST experience so far. Now to hope and pray that they return my money. read more
