Unfortunately, when I contacted them to do the same work this year, they quoted me more than double the price of last year. Seems like I'm not the only one who gets the "repeat customer up-sell quote" from this company. I called a couple weeks ago to setup an appointment and they quoted me $250 more than last year. Few days go by and he texts and asks if the quote is ok? He said "dump fees for palms went up." Woke up in the morning to find a tree in my yard had fallen over due to high winds. Called Ortega's JR tree service around 10:30 AM. They answered right away and had someone come out within the hour to quote the removal of the tree (stump and all) as well as some low hanging branches from my other trees on the side of the house. The price was a little steep, but we agreed at $1500 since they came out quickly. Everything was finished two hours later. They even fixed a sprinkler head that was broken due to the tree falling.
