I found Dr Mulcahy through the desire for change and I am EXTREMELY thankful I did! I had a rather large filling fall out & that is exactly what he fixed, rather expertly I might add! I felt nothing with the numbing shot, not even a pinch. There was some discomfort during the procedure which was caused by the prior dentist getting way too close to the nerve. He put a barrier between the nerve & the filling to try and help with sensitivity. I am giving it a few weeks to see if a root canal will be needed (again since the prior work had been done too close to the nerve). Regardless I am scheduling all future appointments here!! I highly recommend you do the same! Dr Mulcahy & the staff were PHENOMENAL!!

They put them on me far too young (beginning of 4th grade)…read more Developmentally, I wasn't responsible enough to care for them and my face was still growing long after I got them off in 8th grade. They took them off at the projected time rather than when they probably shouldn't have and my overbite really wasn't taken care of. My jaw is sore most days. They also didn't put in a bar on my bottom teeth and they have shifted a lot. I'm in grad school now and I'm waiting until after I finish to go get braces AGAIN. The same thing happened to both of my brother's teeth. This is tens of thousands of dollars my parents paid for poor service. I feel like they took my parent's money, poorly advised them, rushed through the process and didn't give me proper education on caring for my teeth and the consequences of not (I have dental scarring on my bottom teeth from my braces), and now they don't stand behind their work. If I were to go back to them, I would have to pay as much as a new patient would for a retainer or some procedure to rectify their wrongs. Hopefully this practice has improved. It has been a long time since I was there. I'm sure there are a lot of things that I could have done to have better results but they really lacked in the area of patient education. They treated me like a dumb child and so I behaved like one. Go see them for a consultation yourself. This is just my experience and so I needed to express the outcomes. Really this message is for all parents saying don't put braces on your kids until they're mature enough to care for them (this age is different for every kid). You know your kid best so don't let doctor's make you feel guilty and push you into this decision until your child can handle it.

After I had the braces removed, I was sent to a dentist to add tooth material to two teeth (there were gaps left there after the braces were removed). I assumed this was normal and that my teeth had been too small. I feel like my teeth stick out now. Recently, I saw a different orthodontist who told me she could fix my teeth. I am so excited to go to someone who will not take short cuts. Some of the people in the office were extremely nice, so I have to give them a star. I do not recommend this office.
