I was scared to death but Dr A and Brandy were very reassuring, telling me I was doing fine and you're doing a great job. All the things you need to hear when you're as big a baby as I am! I have never been to a dental office that cares and has as much compassion for their patients as Embrace Dental. If I lived here I would never go to another dentist, ever! My teeth look great, but unfortunately years later I've discovered my braces were recommended/installed too early. My molars hadn't come in yet, and now are on a completely different plane than the rest of my teeth. Not that this is entirely their fault, but I can't help but wonder if they talked my parents into 4+ years of braces a bit too early. My brother had similar services from Dr. Cryder and was recently informed (again by another dentist) that his lower bar was installed UPSIDE DOWN. And has been for years and years. Like I said, we both have good teeth, but I would be a bit more careful than we were and not go in taking their word as the "right" thing for our mouths. :)

Her words: Yesterday I had a very traumatic experience! I had to go to the dentist to have a tooth pulled. Unusual experience since I have had dentures for about 18 yrs. Lucky me had a tooth way down in my jaw for at least 50 yrs and my gums shrank so far down that I had a whole tooth seem to pop up in my mouth. I didn't know who to go to that could put up with an extremely nervous older lady(me). One of my best friends told me of Mark Pfeiffer in Ft Thomas. Little did he know of the challenge I would present - not only of a difficult tooth to remove (I was lying horizontal) but a difficult patient to have sit still in the chair. I have to say he did a great job with both. I'd like to thank Amanda, Angel and Mark Pfeiffer for pulling me through this difficult time.

First I had to pay a new patient deposit. Never had to do this for any of my previous dentists. I should have been given a new customer deposit instead for the service I was about to receive. During my initial appointment I was told that i needed quite a bit of work totaling $6220. Basically was told a few other things i needed not included in this price as well. The first item i did need done but the rest seemed way more than my last dentist had recommended. Scare tactics that made me angry. I prepaid for the first service/appointment ($2075) in full before any work had been done. After the visit and once my insurance finally paid their portion I asked to be reimbursed what was remaining ($875). Had to call several times to get this rectified to only be told I did not know how my dental insurance worked. Fast forward to my wife and daughter going for cleanings. Never got a bill only a late payment notice saying we owed for these visits in full. I had my insurance statement showing they had paid their part several months before I received the late notice. Conover lost the payment somehow. Had to go in their office in person because over the phone they could not understand what I was telling them. Went in and paid my part and told them they needed to rebill my insurance. Got another late payment notice for this same bill stating if not taken care of it could go to collections. They could not even transfer our dental records to our new dentist correctly. My new dentist visit revealed I did not in fact need all the above work. The work i did have at Conover still hurts as well. But hey they give you some cool socks. I would look elsewhere for dental care. This place does not treat you like a customer only like a bank account.

It took an hour and me nearly jumping out of my chair 3 times to get fully numbed. He was kind and very gentle. Take care of your teeth people or it will bite you in the ASS! He fit me in quickly and his staff and he were very nice. I highly recommend this dentist! I've been to many dentists and his bedside manner, compassion, and knowledge rate him at a 10 in my book!!!

It resulted in Bell's palsy- not a single care from the dentist and after he told me "ummm I need to go research this" I knew I was in trouble. Almost a full year and I'm not 100% healed. After he gave me a bs prescription- no more follow ups to see how I'm doing, no further instructions on what to do. Only called to collect money. So I've racked up bills from my PCP, a new dentist and even an ENT just to prove it wasn't caused by my ears. I've racked up THOUSANDS in dentist/medical bills due to their lack of care. DO NOT EVER GO TO TWIN DENTAL!!! Im still being harassed for a $60 payment when they have already collected $400 from me and $500 from my insurance TO PULL ONE TOOTH!! They didnt even give me pain meds, not even a low dose one until i was in so much pain. And instead of calling it to the pharmacy- they told me i had 20 minutes to get it from their office aa they close early on friidays. Never in my life have i ever paid that much for an extraction. Or had a dentist who was etremely nonchalant about what HE had done!!(Even when i didnt have a job/insurance I only paid $160 and the emergency dentist on a friday at 7pm pulled it.) i will however, send them all my bills for the year of follow up ive had to deal with for their mistake. I have included a picture from the day before the procedure - the day of, the day after, a pic when i was being weened off the medication after 6 month of high dose steroids (due to the dentist prescribing a an extreme low dose that did nothing) and two additional pictures from this year 4 months post steroids two more teeth were also shattered due to the steroids and so I was deathly scared of getting those pulled, until this morning. I had no idea that a dentist office could be caring and comforting. But shoutout to Meier dental and Cincinnati oral surgeons for extracting 3 teeth (the two shattered and my last wisdom) under anesthesia, prescribed me a pill before I went in, had antibiotics on order, Tylenol 3 on order for pain. Sent me home with an ice pack and enough gauze to last a life time. My total out of pocket $600. Insane difference. These people took my life from me for almost a year. Due to being on steroids gained ao much water weight I had Charlie horses when I walked!, I also had high blood pressure, pre diabetic along with absolutely no energy and not being able to breathe all due to the side effects of the steroids I had to take to fix what THEY did. SO BEWARE OF TWIN DENTAL. Or at least if you find anything suspicious or wrong speak to a malpractice attorney IMMEDIATELY

During my very first an appointment, Dr.Brock noticed that i had very dry lips and i explained that was i on Accutane and the it was horrible trying to find something that worked. He told me about this brand called "LanoLips" and even Amazon primed my very first one to my address, which i received on 2 days time. He quite literally saved my lips lol they were breaking bad.
