October 6, 2025 This company gets a zero rating Not a 1 star. Don't waste your time to conduct business with Orthodox towing unless you are wIlling to take a risk. The tow truck driver kept rescheduling the arrival pickup time "due to traffic " but explained over and over he's nearby within 25 minutes away. He finally arrived 4 hours later with an unapologetic rude attitude for any inconvenience and then calls me ignorant so I slam my hood and walked away. As if he was doing me a favor instead of conducting himself like a normal business human being. I encounter many tow truck drivers but this one looks a little wild & dirty looking. The Manager, Oliver is worse than the driver. Who is silly and laughs while I'm complaining about the driver situation. Why give this company another opportunity to treat someone else like me. Only to find out that it's been sitting here for that duration because it was towed the day after the incident and he was never informed by them. He attempted to pick it up with proof of the date of the incident and the muthafuckers don't care!!! They want every dime for every day his cars been sitting there. "We're running a business" were the owners words. Wtf kinda business you running with 50+ years experience???? They dispatched an incompetent and extremely defensive tow truck driver. They told me they would arrive between 8am-5pm. I reach out to them all afternoon with no response. Finally at 5:30, I get a text from the driver saying they're 45 mins away. 90 mins later, she arrives with no check to pay me for my car, and has a child with her. Instead of owning her mistakes, she placed blame on technology and associates. She told me she needed to call a new tow truck driver who was an hour away. then I heard her argueing with them about confirming whether or not they even had any physical checks to pay me. The lady then gave me an attitude when I expressed disappointment in the nightmare experience I was receiving. All she had to do was shoe me any semblence of competent customer service and she would've have locked in a sale for her company. But her ego was too high and she had to talk back to me. I declined the offer and my day was wasted waiting indefinitely for her. read more

Orthodox is a filthy and disgusting place. The office is literally falling apart. They make you drive through deep mud and over scrap metal, nails, and other vehicle damaging debris if your car gets towed. They also charge you for "storage" the same day that they pick up your car! They close at 4pm so by the time you've called the police, the PPA and everywhere in between to try to locate if your verily was towed or stolen it's already too late to pick up your vehicle. read more

I spend over $5,000.00 for my engine. And, Mike sold me two engines that doesn't work. And, they didn't pay for my mechanic to put them in either. The manager Ron promised us $500.00 for the engines. And now everyone is unresponsive. They are not professional. We have two engines for them to pickup. My mechanic used to get parts all the time. Not anymore. They won't give me my money back or an another engine. Please don't give them any business. Until I repost and let you guys know that it is resolved. read more

I recently scrapped my old 2002 Mazda protege after buying a new car. I called around to multiple places around Philadelphia and orthodox had the best offer. I showed up and worked with Rick who was very friendly and courteous. I chatted with other employees during my visit who were all very helpful as well. Rick beat the price he had said on the phone by 25 bucks, the transaction was smooth and took a just a few minutes. I would highly recommend orthodox auto. read more

Not Nice People. Poor communicators, failed to call when parts were not an exact match. I had to forfeit 25% of my deposit and was harrassed by one of the employees for not making a purchase. They never even offered to negotiate the price to keep the deal. overall I would say that the manager needs to watch his employees and make sure they're doing their jobs correctly and remind them that customer service is actually apart of their job. If you're thinking about buying something from these guys make sure you put your hands and eyes on it before you pull out you money. read more
