OrthoMaryland in Owings Mills is neat. The gentleman at the front desk is very curt. If you are having a rough day, you may want to express yourself with your entire open hand but .... Aside from the exercise of patience at the front desk, the suite is very nice. I was seen quickly. The water fountain was a nice touch, didn't realize I needed a drink Dr. Dolitsky was pleasant, attentive, and present with his recommendations. He sent referrals, Rx, and a follow up in short order. I am thankful for the help and I look forward to overcoming this chapter. 4 stars for the practice, the patient experience and my Doc. -1 star for the arduous task of being composed with the curt gentleman. read more

Can't say enough about the practice. Scheduling online is very easy. The new Owings Mills office is convenient and full service. Dr. Heller has been great with good advise and care. The support staff is also very helpful and compassionate. read more

Avoid these people! My sister went for what turned out to be a slipped disc and the staff loudly mocked her for being in pain during her x-ray. Being in pain and incapacitated is terrible. Being laughed out by the people you expect to care for you is next level shittiness. When we found a compassionate doctor to treat her, we tried to cancel. You can't do it online and their phone system doesn't work. I emailed, messaged here and faxed (which was busy for over an hour) The doctors *may* be competent but the office and the office staff are rude, mean, and useless. Find someone else if you want to be treated like a patient and not a burden. read more

This is a continuation from a review I posted earlier. I feel its important to add this additional information. the site only allows so many characters per post. What I've learned from this experience after many hours' worth of phone calls and speaking with certain administrative folks who have actually no authority and have shared that the firm is understaffed, people are on vacation, there is no one to refer when someone is out of the office, etc. It was extremely disappointing hearing how a multimillion dollar organization runs its business. It is my recommendation and I think it's extremely important to follow Please don't always take the recommendation of your primary physician. Sometimes there's a connection between physicians by helping each other out and providing each other as recommendations. If you're going to accept the recommendation provided to you by your primary care physician, please do your own research and follow up Start by taking recommendations from people you know well and let them share their experiences with you. Call Your Insurance Company. Health insurance companies have included services such as "Best Doctors", where this is part of your benefit package. "Best Doctors" has a staff of medical folks who research the quality of a providers services and research reviews and feedback. This particular organization actually takes the time and your information and provides you a list of best recommended providers within your area. They will even call the provider to get in for an appointment - on your behalf. Ask that office if they recently just updated their software. I know this is crazy, but as an IT consultant who supports many medical firms, and the experience I had with this firm, there are so many mistakes performed due to training, entering incorrect information or not being able to find the correct information, etc. If the medical firm is still using the same software, most likely, most of the employees know how to maneuver around the application. read more

I had a torn meniscus and was nervous about the surgery as I am not a spring chicken anymore. I had an initial appointment with Robert Riederman, and he was great about explaining what would happen and gave me some exercises to do before surgery. The surgery came, everyone was nice and explained what was about to happen. Because of there excellent work and the routine he had me do before the surgery, I was up and getting around the day after the surgery and walking without crutches or a cane 5 days after the knee surgery. I would definitely recommend this facility for your orthopedic issues. read more

Expect a minimum one hour wait after your appointment time. The desk will blame the doctor and the doctor will blame the desk and you get screwed in the end. Once you get into the exam room another 30 minutes to see another face. Plan on packing a lunch. You will probably go through at least one mealtime while waiting. read more

The front desk is very unprofessional and sort of snide and rude. I would never come here again... I question the qualify of their services here if this is how management is handling their business. read more

I am very pleased with this practice. I had knee replacement and my doctor, Dr. Buchalter, is wonderful. Very professional, listens to you and helps you along with the process. Yes, you do have to wait in the lobby to be seen but once you go back to see the doctor you don't have to wait any longer. read more
