Staff is rude. I will not set up an appointment when I get treated like I'm uneducated. I myself was an X-Ray tech that rised to an MRI text. I ran fluoroscopy and spent hours in the OR, so I know my anatomy and I know what the job entails for an PSR. I know if the person cares they will do their job and make the class they now expect us to retrieve these things. Even if you're sick. There are are a good handful of excellent PSR, but they are few and far between. Seems like the Medical Business is falling apart. Thank you for listening. read more

Ok it's time to review! I've been here twice once for myself and once for a family member. Both times the service was awesome. Which is made better by the fact that in many cases this was after getting very poor service in other places When you're helping someone in pain you begin to notice certain things about the facilities. There is an entrance area where you can pull up and go in and get a wheelchair for someone who needs it which is very useful when you consider that sometimes down in the city that's not really a possibility I'm not really the biggest fan of the kind of herding section waiting area but I roll with that I have always seen great customer service here and there is a great effort to diagnose the problem and try to create a course of treatment that will actually solve the problem I think this is a great place and I think if you have any kind of orthopedic issues you do not need to go out of town go here!!! read more

I left another review, I don't know what happened to it, can't find it. I wanted to add to it. Had the bunion removed from my right foot by Dr Moran . First surgery went sideways , braces installed were too long,!hurt and broke my second toe . Second surgery he did to repair was not any better. My foot was deformed , wouldn't fit into any of my 50 shoes , and he could have cared less. As you can see in photo my bunions still there!!! Do NOT see Dr. Tan for anything hand related. She diagnosed me with dupuytren's even though I could lay my hand flat & I had hand pain! I was wise enough to opt for the steroid injection for pain from the options she provided. I have since discovered my condition is actually trigger finger, not the DT she was so insistent I had. If this had been diagnosed correctly in the first place, my REAL condition would not have progressed as much as it has. What a quack! OA & Dr. Murphy have always been great. OA has gotten sloppy with its new hire "doctors". DO YOUR HOMEWORK! read more

What a #*@%ing nightmare it has been to even schedule an appointment. By far the rudest and most ignorant staff in scheduling locally.

My husband was to see Dr. Morin at 2:30. Because of unknown road construction, some right on the clinics road, That Noone warned us of, we were unable to arrive until 2:44. My husband checked in and the lady at the window stated the Dr would not see my husband because he was over 15 minutes late. He would have to re schedule, at that time there were 7 people in his waiting area. 2 filling out paperwork, that we were told to complete on line. There is no compassion. We would have still had to wait, but we were 14 minutes late, and told to reschedule. read more

My mother had a meniscectomy, then I had one. Now, my mother had a hip replacement at 93! Dr. Heitoff is fabulous. He spends a sort time examining and explaining, and always shows the X-rays. I love that. He has been very kind, proficient, and is supported well by his PA, and office staff. We have never waited more than 20 minutes to half an hour, which is reasonable. His skills are excellent and I could not recommend him more highly. We will return. My only complaint would be with McLaren, but there is nothing better in the area. Sadly, we cannot have surgery in the Surgery Center due to bleeding possibilities. read more

Still waiting with my wife for over an hour and a half to have surgery. Staff was friendly but being early for an appointment and then waiting for more than an hour is ridiculous. I've had more invasive surgeries in far less time. Otherwise I definitely recommend their care to anyone in the area. read more

We scheduled an appointment, they got us in a couple of days after we called. We arrived 20 minutes early to fill out paperwork. It took them over 45 minutes to see us, then after we came back into the examination room. We then waited in there for around an hour. I would totally understand if they were busy, but we saw patients going in, and then coming about multiple times. The doctor was nice, but that was the only redeeming quality. I do not recommend this place unless you are willing to wait nearly two hours to be seen. read more

Dr. Braaksma is the best!! He was the most kind and patient person I think I've ever met. He was awesome to take on a mess of a knee infection from another orthopedic Dr. Up north. After numerous surgeries and the assistance of his PA, Kelsey Payton they were able to get me back to my life. It's been a long road but I don't know if I would even have my leg still if it wasn't for Dr. Braaksma. Hands down the best doctor!! I cried many tears of pain and then joy and I felt I was given 110 percent care from him and his staff. I can't thank them enough!! read more

I waited an hour after checking in on line, I spent five minutes w a surgeon in the room, he dictated but they didn't introduce selves! I did not feel cared for by anyone! I waited in the exam room 45 minutes.... But I was cheated out of a thorough exam... he didn't assess for pain or dysfunction and seemed unaware of my need for respiratory therapy, last recent surgery. I am not sure this surgeon will assess and prescribe pain medication to ease my suffering. He was with me five minutes tops, and his plan to use surgery center... did not take into consideration Mt long distance and my need for respiratory therapy. It isn't the high quality care I desire! None of the staff were calm friendly and professional, they were obviously pushed back by time with papers galore... The whole process was so inefficient and subpar. read more

My son was seen for pain. He was sent for an MRI which the results were then sent back to orthopedic Associates for review. I was never contacted about these results and a year later found out that the results showed my son had a herniated disc in his back. What kind of service is that? read more

I have been going to Orthopedic Associates for many years and have almost always had the best care and service. Dr. R. Makim is an extremely gifted doctor. He has done several knee surgeries on both me and my wife and two complete knee replacements on me. He has ALWAYS taken the time to discuss in detail what ever we were there for and his staff always had a smile. Dr Steven Heithoff is also a remarkable hand surgeon. He performed a surgery that I never knew existed and afterwards, I was able to use my thumb on my right hand again with no pain. I suffered years until going to him. I have seen other doctors there who were good but not like Dr. Makim and Dr. Steven Heithoff. Yes sometimes the wait was long, but emergencies do come in unscheduled and get immediate care if needed, backing up the schedules. This is to be expected with surgeons and should be understood by everyone. I recently moved to Grand Blanc and still made an appointment with Dr. Steven Heithoff because he is that good. I would do the same with Dr. Makim with any knee or shoulder injury. Best damn sports doctor I have ever been too, and I have been through many. read more

Very unfriendly staff. Would not recommend. They call you to pre register you and then hand you a computer to check yourself in with the same questions. Asked for help from the tech and she states I don't know anything about that I only do the MRI's. It's their policy not mine.There are better options for professionalism. The quality of care of the professional staff is the most important thing to us! Have been going here for years and never a problem. You can walk-in anytime they are open and don't have to make an appointment or have a referral. This time it was my husband's knee and Dr. Heitoff was great. In the past, I've been here with my kids. Is no stars an option ? I have never been verbally abused by 'professionals' in my life until this facility. The billing department is a ******* joke, talking down to me about a bill that was their mess up a $2,600 mess up, I have anxiety issues and they continued to berate me in front of a crowded waiting room until I was in tears and had to walk away. I have seen several doctors here over the years and only recently began seeing doctor Kowalski for residual affects from a traumatic brain injury caused by an automobile accident, I have a portion of my brain missing the size of an ice cream scoop, yet he wanted to argue it out with me that I just have attention issues and most of my symptoms are 'just in my head'! Get real here folks....I will never return to this joke of a facility again and will be reporting events to the bbb as well. read more

My daughter broke a bone in her foot. We were referred here from our PCP, without a visit to her. She sent over the referral by fax, and my wife called to confirm the appointment, but someone had taken the fax, which caused hours of confusion. Eventually the fax was turned in, but this was after many phone calls to figure it out. Our appointment was at 3:15 P.M. We were called back at 4:25 P.M. Many others in the waiting room were very annoyed. The receptionist was paying her Kohls bill on her smart phone, and tried to hide the card under her keyboard when my wife walked up. The Doctor came into the room for maybe 2 minutes to say my daughter would get a cast. The lady giving her the cast was unhappy, she even asked for help by calling out to the hall, and when no one replied she said "everyone around here is useless." I could not agree more! It was a horrible experience. Dr. Murphy was our doctor. read more

The doctors are outstanding - the billing is abysmal. Never go to their doctors then their physical therapists. The billing is not separate and you (and they) will be confused about what you owe. We have been billed for way more than the explanation of benefits from the insurance company says we owe. Horrible read more

Came here after tearing my Achilles tendon. People were nice; but I was basically just given a work out plan and left alone to wander the gym and work out on my own. Months later they came looking for money I did not owe; And, after repeatedly being told "they billed my insurance incorrectly and it would be taken care of" I was turned into collections. Save your receipts; and keep track of your attended appointments. I for sure will never go back here. read more
