What I appreciate most is that he actually listens. He takes your concerns seriously, asks the right questions, and works with you to figure out what may be going on rather than rushing through the appointment or immediately reaching for a quick fix. I also really value his focus on the bigger picture. He looks at lifestyle, habits, and overall health and tries to address the root of the issue whenever possible. You can tell he genuinely wants his patients to feel better and stay healthier long-term. It's rare to find a doctor who combines this level of knowledge with such a patient, practical approach. Before I came in, I felt like no one could understand how much pain I was in no matter how much I told them or cringed at normal daily activities. Doctor Marissa completely validated my feelings and made me feel comfortable the whole time I was there. If only every doctor at every hospital was like her, I wouldn't dread having to go in at all. She wasn't the typical "write a script and leave". She answered all my questions, was very knowledgable about the injury, and didn't make me feel rushed. When I walked in, it was empty which was amazing. I filled out the form and provided cards and they called me in the room for weight and height. Then they put us in a room. They brought the activity cube with us to keep him calm. The PA came in very quickly. She even went to the car to get her own tool to check his ears because the one on the wall can not reach the floor. We were in and out extremely fast. The medications were sent super quick to pharmacy as well.
