I have been seeing Dom at the Dale Road location for the past six weeks, twice a week for pain and tingling in my fingers, hand, arm and shoulder. I couldn't sit, stand or lay down without pain. Sleeping through the night was impossible. Dom has been amazing! I can now sleep most nights, the pain has decreased tremendously and I feel soooo much better!! I'm so impressed with OPTI people and Alyssa Colyn on Oakdale Rd, Modesto, CA. They are so welcoming and friendly, and really seem to have a good relationship with their clients. Their knowledge and the tools they use to improve your mobility is so superior to anyone other PT companies out there. I have had bulging disc and pinched nerves in my cervical spine for years! I opted not to fuse four vertebrae but instead to do physical therapy. I retired in 2008, in 2012 i needed to have a total knee replacement done and Travis worked with me for a year with my rehab, not only did he treat my physical rehab, but was very understanding, as there were many times, I needed additional support to get through the, the difficult times at therapy. If you're shopping for a place to get healed, don't pass OPTI up! After an achilles rupture, surgery and mediocre physical therapy at Kaiser, I checked out this place after reading the positive reviews. Right off, I felt a warm vibe from the staff. Travis is a very intelligent man that knows what he does. He remembered every exercises from previous sessions and changed them up on every visit. Although physical therapy can be a drag, I actually looked forward to my sessions. I was able to see and feel my progress after every visit. I have to leave a special note about Kelsey. My injury was work related and I ended up hiring an attorney due to issues with workers comp, and the medical facility I was working with. Kelsey was able to do more than my attorney even attempted to do. I can't thank her enough! Thanks to the staff at OPTI, I was able to heal faster and efficiently. It's reputation has since grown within the community working with little league traveling baseball teams, high school sports, as well as college athletes. Not to forget the hosted outreach events for amputee victims that could use gait recourse training. The Physical Therapy staff is diverse with sound and up to date programs to meet your needs with a smile. I would recommend this clinic to my friends and family, especially my mother. OPTI was recommended to me by my son and it was the BEST experience ever! I have been fortunate in that I have never really suffered an injury requiring the need for physical therapy until this past winter. But, I injured my hip skiing and it just wasn't getting any better. My son recommended I go see Travis at OPTI. What a great experience! Travis and the entire staff are absolutely wonderful...knowledgeable, kind, thoughtful, helpful, accommodating to my schedule, ... !! I started with a consult and Travis was able to identify the injury and explain it to me in such a way that I was able to understand what I had done and what I needed to do to recover from the injury. I went thru a series of exercises when I went in for treatments and was provided with a list of exercises to do at home. At first, I thought I could just do the exercises at home, but the treatment Travis and his staff provide is much, much more than me doing the exercises. If I could, I'd go in for physical therapy every day of the week (even without an injury!!) !! My whole body and mind felt rejuvenated after every treatment! I went to OPTI for the first 2 weeks of rehab following ACL knee surgery while staying with family in Central Valley. I ended up driving here from Turlock after other closer places couldn't even get me a consultation for over a month. I am glad I did because OPTI went out of their way to fit me in & give me personalized service. This is a smaller PT clinic but Travis(Owner) is a great therapist who really cares about his business & it shows. I had a total knee replacement a year ago. I came to see Travis for my physical therapy. I was very happy with my progress. Travis was kind and gentle. While Travis pushed me to succeed, he never pushed faster or harder than I was capable. He was very considerate of those days that were harder than others. I was very comfortable in the environment. Following my total hip replacement in April, I developed a rare neurological condition known as CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome), causing extreme nerve pain in my foot, ankle and lower leg. The doctors at UCSF were adamant about seeking a Physical Therapist that is knowledgeable of, and has treated CRPS. Opti had already been strongly recommended to me by a friend before my hip surgery. I was delighted to learn that the owner, Travis, is both knowledgeable and experienced with CRPS, having treated it before. I have been recieving therapy for both my foot and hip for several weeks now, and could not be more pleased with the results. I went in with a flare up of an old injury causing an inflammation of the muscles in the sciatica area causing severe pain. I almost danced out after the first session and was cleared to return to work after two visits. Travis and his lovely staff make you feel welcome. I observed the interaction between them and other clients and mine was not a special circumstance. They are warm and welcoming, nonjudgmental but mostly very knowledgeable. Travis is the best! He takes the time to fully evaluate what is needed and works patiently with you. I had hand surgery and needed therapy to get back my range of motion and strength. Now my hand is so good that I'm using it to climb the cables at Half Dome. On a side note, I asked Travis to be my personal trainer for a couple of months to help get me in better shape for the climb. I'm now ready and so is my hand! read more
