I just finished my 12th visit at Calif Rehab after rotator cuff surgery and am very pleased with the results. The entire staff is extremely helpful! I'm very impressed with the front desk staff as they have consistently provided fast & excellent follow-up. Edgar (my therapist) and Terry (PT asst) are my Super-Hero team as they have provided individualized & personable service each & everytime. I found this to be the high standard in observing the interactions among all patients and staff. I literally could not move my arm on my first visit and I attribute my progress to their knowledge, patience and encouragement. I have had several Physical Therapists (Nicole, Brett and Robert with aide Alexis), all good and caring. They are usually watching several clients at a time since they demonstrate for your understanding and then have you do the reps. LOL, my "magic number" was 30 or 3 sets of 10...ample time to be attentive and yet get someone else started with their own therapy. They knew I was wanting to work hard to regain what movement and stamina I'd lost, so I had a solid 45-50 minutes of work with 10 minutes icing afterwards. I read the poor reviews before posting mine and am surprised. Not my experience at all. My friend is going through their Occupational Therapy component and has equally positive feed back. read more

I've been going to this place for about 4-5 months now and every time I would come I would be greeted nicely by the staff. They have their busy days but you won't get left hanging the staff is always on top of things and keep everything clean, I was put in physical therapy to recover from my surgery and the staff was very generous and going at my own pace. Edgar, Terry, Ryan, and Robert were the main ones who took me into their schedules and they're such friendly people I would really recommend this place to anyone who's willing to have a good laugh and a fast recovery. read more

This is my second time receiving physical therapy at California Rehabilitation. The first time was in 2010, when they were housed on Carpenter Rd. I had surgery on my right knee. I received excellent care...so it made sense to request them again after having surgery on my left knee. Everyone is very friendly and team oriented. I am very happy with the team here , Will is my therapist & he is helping me to try & get back to close to where I was before my fibula fracture but i know it will be very hard to get there if I do not do my parts the aids are amazing especially mine Tyler he is always very helpful and knowledge of what is going on .Everyone there is always so happy to be there & doing there job and helping many people at a time. this is the most wonderful physical therapy facility. my therapist, I can't say enough about him! he is the greatest. I feel he has helped me in my recovery. motivating me, pushing me, just to where I need to be. I thank Edgar and expect a fully functional knee, with much hard work. I have been to several different organizations for physical therapy over the past 15 years. I must say that California Rehabilitation has an excellent staff and all of the ones that I have worked with so far have been very conscientious of my needs. They are flexible enough to make changes to my plan based on my physical needs. Some other places want to stick with the original plan even if that plan is no longer meeting my needs. I went there 7 times and I felt like the staff wasn't as attentive as they should be. Most of the time the Physical Therapist assistant would do the work and it was obvious that she did not know what she was doing. When they would tell me to do things, they wouldn't even make sure I was doing things right and would get carried away talking about their personal life. I would not recommend this place at all. I have been going here since July after having extensive right shoulder repair not only am I recovering well physically when i walk in the door from the front office the girls always greet you with a smile and are very helpfull and when you go back for your therapy the atmosphere just makes you fill happy to be here. I have been here for 2 injuries and the caring staff has been professional and their work excellent. they encourage you to work on your recovery but don't hesitate to tell you to stop when they see your in too much pain, dizzy, etc. They keep everyone monitored and active. they are funny and keep it light which helps when you are dealing with pain. I travel quite a distance to get physical therapy done at this wonderful establishment.I am only able to get it done once a month because of circumstances beyond my control but everytime I go they are very polite,helpful and they let me go longer on my therapy cause I have quite a wait for my ride back.I would recommend this business to others. read more

They don't allowed cell phone use in the facility but yet they have NO SIGNS UP saying not to use the cellphone. I think they should put up signs saying no cellphone allowed. Very bad facility kicking people out for the use of a cellphone and signs to let people know.the staff is very rude and races so are the patients that go there . read more

This place has to be one of the worst places I have been for therapy . The staff acts like they hate their jobs and have zero motivational skills . During my 8 visits I think I saw 1 or 2 smiles . There is no structure , no continuity , and zero personality from anyone . Not a place you would want to go if you could avoid it. read more

California Rehabilitation Center is by far one of the best. I go there for physical therapy on my knee, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. My physical therapist was very clear on the current state of my knee, and the exercises I needed to do in order to help it. Definitely a five star rehabilitation center. read more
