Justin was great. Good workouts and good company during my rehab. Bad at betting lines for football though.

I have a recording of a consultation with a Doctor at Panorama Orthopedics where he tells my wife…read moreas plainly as he can (with 3 interns in the room) that nothing, absolutely nothing, could be done for my Wife's shoulders short of complete replacement. We sought a second opinion from Dr. Dorf. Now, Dr. Dorf is a straightforward guy - about as straightforward as they come - but he is also a professional and he didn't bash the previous doctor, but the look of complete puzzlement by this previous diagnosis was difficult for him to hide. He felt he could give immediate relief with a cortisone shot - which he administered himself. The previous doctor told us that even with his 35 years of experience he couldn't get a shot in the right place without ultrasound guidance. Dr. Dorf didn't have this issue. He was confident he could get it in the right place - and he did. Again, the puzzlement was difficult to hide - but no bashing. ;-) After reviewing the MRI provided by Panorama (the same MRI the previous doctor used for his diagnosis) he gave us the opinion that he could scope her shoulders and give her years of less pain and he did not feel that replacement was something that should even be on our radar. She had bone spurs, partially torn rotator cuffs, arthritis, scar tissue. Dr. Dorf "clobbered" the spurs, fixed the cuffs, took out the biceps tendon and cleaned up the rest. Why couldn't the other doctor do that? Perhaps skill has something to do with it. What a difference. Our original diagnosis was disturbing to say the least, but i guess when all you have is a nail, the answer is always a hammer. Dr. Dorf is on a whole different level. To put it bluntly, this guy knows his shit and isn't afraid to do the right thing for his patient - even if that requires some stern advice on recovery from time to time. Additionally his support staff is awesome. Annie in particular was so great. She called us promptly every time we had questions and didn't mess around when it came to making sure my wife was taken care of in the best way possible. My wife also had trapeziectomy on both of her thumbs. the result is 2 thumbs, way up! If you go to Dr. Dorf prepare yourself for great care, great advice and counseling, and most of all - great confidence that the right thing is being done by the right people. Hopefully Dr. Dorf lives forever because we plan to, and we will never use another orthopedic doctor. Thanks Doc. :-)

Now looking at shoulder surgery with him. Matt his PA and Katie is MA are very caring. From the moment we…read morebegan explaining the history of my daughter's knee injury, I was met with a dismissive attitude and zero bedside manner. Instead of listening, she was short, cold, and visibly irritated that I was trying to provide context for the injury. When my daughter told her that the exam was hurting and the pressure on her knee was too much, Shannon actually pressed harder. I was shocked. To make matters worse, the exam room at their south location had at least 20 dead flies on the floor and windowsill, extremely unhygienic and unacceptable in a medical facility. We left feeling mistreated and very upset. I called immediately to request a different provider and to speak with a manager about how unprofessional the appointment was. Instead of addressing anything we reported, they mailed us a letter saying they were "parting ways" with us. That tells you everything you need to know about how they handle complaints. While that is perfectly fine, we had already decided to seek care elsewhere, the lack of professionalism in how it was handled truly says it all. Be aware of the treatment you may receive here. Our experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish.

I better check him out. I saw 3 other surgeons to inquire about the pain in my knee. I had 3 different views and I wanted his expert opinion. Well, he agreed with the 1st and 3rd surgeon, that they were onto the right diagnosis and he could take care of it. Dr. Garramone spent as much time as I needed, not rushed out the door after a few moments... unlike some of the other Drs.... just saying... I liked his precise analysis along with his suggestion to also use PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) Therapy.. so I said yes to him and scheduled my surgery. I really liked the hospital he was at and I got all emotional when Sky Ridge sent me a get well postcard with everyones signature. I'm a big baby... anyway the hospital was efficient, quick and staff was excellent! My surgery recovery, can I say surgery recovery was Great? Sure, it hurt but I expect when you cut into somebody's body and do stuff to a bone, it's going to hurt! But, Every Day I Got Better! I even took pictures so I could be distant from the healing process and remember exactly what it looked like instead of relying on my memory. I'm currently 7 weeks out from the torn meniscus and a whole bunch of other stuff he did, but again, Every Day, I feel better. Yes, it feels better than it did before and I could tell that after 5 days! Would I recommend him, a big Yes - 5 Stars completely. Go for it!!! VJ

He explained about the necessity of the labrum and told me that`s why I was in such pain all the time. He did surgery on it, told all about the recovery time, what I could and could not do, and after the follow up visit suggested a Platelet-Rich Plasma injection, which I believe helped expidite my healing. I would highly recommend Dr Garramone. His office personnel are extremely attentive, answer any further questions and return calls immediately. Outstanding experience!!

If this review was just based solely on them it would be 6 out of 5 stars. Unfortunately I gave it a lower score because everytime we have to go to the downtown location, dealing with their horrible receptionist Azalea is more painful than the actual procedure itself. In all my years on earth, I have NEVER dealt with someone as cold and unprofessional as her. She has an attitude more fitting for someone at the DMV, not a business centered around taking care of children/families. Her rudeness honestly makes me so uncomfortable, I am going to cancel our upcoming appointment and reschedule at the Skyridge location that's 30+ minutes out of my way just so we no longer have to deal with her. She also does not follow direction well, we asked for a two week appointment, she tried to schedule us the following week and then rolled her eyes at me when I told her that wasn't what we needed. I cant prove it, but I am 99% positive she is the same person who scheduled us way too early to take our casts off, which resulted in a very painful 2 hour traumatizing experience for my kiddo that was unnecessary and resulted in having to put the casts back on. She is truly awful, awful at her job and awful communicating with customers.

The waiting room played a children's movie that my son liked and the front desk staff was accommodating. The xray technician was very professional. The orthopedist identified the injury quickly and proposed a treatment solution. The cast was fashioned quickly by a very nice person as well. We had him back at school in his cast in less than three hours after he broke his wrist. What more could you ask for a non emergency facility that does not charge a facility fee?
