Instead of listening, she was short, cold, and visibly irritated that I was trying to provide context for the injury. When my daughter told her that the exam was hurting and the pressure on her knee was too much, Shannon actually pressed harder. I was shocked. To make matters worse, the exam room at their south location had at least 20 dead flies on the floor and windowsill, extremely unhygienic and unacceptable in a medical facility. We left feeling mistreated and very upset. I called immediately to request a different provider and to speak with a manager about how unprofessional the appointment was. Instead of addressing anything we reported, they mailed us a letter saying they were "parting ways" with us. That tells you everything you need to know about how they handle complaints. While that is perfectly fine, we had already decided to seek care elsewhere, the lack of professionalism in how it was handled truly says it all. Be aware of the treatment you may receive here. Our experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish.

He did his job and I followed their instructions. Between the surgery and doing restorative yoga, my back is great now. I went from not being able to stand or sit (at all!) to being 80-90% better in a couple weeks and after a few months, 90-100% better. So, I would say my surgery went great and I have referred many others to him who have had great success.

After I gave a sample they sat me down with a technician in a room with other patients and proceeded to ask me my medical information in front of everyone! HIPPA violation much? Then I was placed in an exam room, where a doctor other than Bissell came in and talked about a plan for PM. I initially booked future appointments but ended up cancelling bc as I went through my day, my gut said request a new care manager. Good thing, because I received a bill that was clearly not billed through the VA/TRIWEST. What a disaster of a place!!! Go elsewhere.

I just spent the last 8 months here (at least it felt like it). I was recovering from a car…read moreaccident and needed additional treatment so I was referred by my chiropractor. I've heard great things about Orthopedic Rehab in general- they have a lot of locations- this location is really good. My physical therapist was Micah. He is very good. He also does dry needling and I felt like he did very well with that- he explained everything and normalized the process and was in tune and sensitive with how I was handling it. Micah is smart and knows what he is doing. You spend some time with your physical therapist and then have techs and assistants who walk you through your exercises and treatments. Overall I appreciated each one who worked with me. One tech in particular seemed distant and I felt like he shamed me when I arrived at the wrong time for an appointment (I'm not convinced that was my fault) and that really bothered me. But the people working are personable, caring and knowledgable. Their equipment is good and I enjoyed observing the interactions with other patients and among the team. There are TV's in the rehab area and I got a real kick out of how into The Price Is Right the staff seemed each time I was there. :) I had frustrations with scheduling. I think about 30% of the time (and I went A LOT and for A LONG TIME) there were mistakes made with my scheduling- either the day, time, which treatment I was having, or even the therapist I was seeing. I think improvements need to be made in their scheduling system. The front desk staff, especially more recently, are warm and on top of things. This office has recently added services for women's health which I think is awesome. They don't take my insurance (Aetna) but they were fair in their prices which I respected. The owner/manager of this location, Chad, is extremely personable and seems like a good leader. There were some times I felt like the staff were giving up on me, indifferent to me, distracted or maybe even a little uncommitted. I think that could have been because I was a patient longer than most other people, and maybe my own discouragement that I wasn't getting enough better rubbed off on them. We talked about how I was feeling fatigued, the pain in the groin area and the muscle spasms I have at night. We also discussed the physical therapy and how that was going. Let me know to get me some magnesium to help with what I got going on. I'm satisfied with the surgery and everything that has happened so far. So no complaints on my part. My wife got so ill, I had to take her to the emergency room. The emergency room doctor; Dr. Crawford; ran tests and indicated the joint looked infected. He called in the standby surgeon to open the wound, clean it out and do a revision (Replace the socket lining and the ball. My wife had to spend five days in St. Francis hospital recovering and was placed on infusion treatments for six weeks after discharge. She just completed the forth week. This has been a nightmare for Suzanne and I. We don't know what the outcome will be. Type of care was poor. Quality was poor. Office experience gave us the impression that the staff could careless. If I had not taken her to the ER and waited until the delayed post OP follow up, the infection could have gone into her blood stream and infected her whole body. This is what the nurse who helped with the procedure that confirmed the infected hip.
