They do not pass out any medication indiscriminately. They do pill counts, drug testing and keep up with current research. The American Medical Association has recently come out in support of pain management at a time when this is a difficult area of medicine to practice. There are many medical conditions that do not respond to alternative pain treatments and sometimes opioid medication becomes necessary for optimal functioning. The current body of research now clearly shows, without any doubt, that pain medication prescription rates and overdose rates have no statistical relationship. None. Zero. Zip. Overdoses resulting in death are almost always a result of illicit opioids like heroin & illegal fentanyl, polysubstance use and occasionally diversion of prescription medication used by someone it was not prescribed to. This is typically a result of poverty, hopelessness, lack of employment opportunities, etc. If we hope to combat overdose rates in our state, we need to start fixing the problem rather than hurting patients in need. Alcohol & tobacco also kill significant numbers of people and our country largely ignores that. My appointment started on time and was very quick. I was out within 20 minutes for a minor procedure. The radiologist and his techs were super nice and thorough with my care. They explained everything they were doing and made sure I understood. They checked in with me multiple times during the procedure to make sure I was ok. They reviewed my background and information related to the procedure and were really diligent overall. If I need any further care or future procedures I will definitely request to be referred back here.

Hard to call it a surgery when there is so little invasiveness... however I did wear my compression hose longer (2xwks) than advised (1wk). Because of better success? My Right leg just felt like it needed it so i just went the extra mile‍So far so good after both legs being done already not feeling the leg exhaustion I had before and its only been 2 months! Dr. Ahanchi and her team are amazing and I would recommend to my mother! I had both legs, greater saphenous veins, vein ablation. NSAIDs over the counter worked perfect for the uncomfortableness post surgery. The compression hose (20/15) helped a ton, the walking (real walking- not just around the house) helped a lot to. Sometimes i would walk for 15 mins 3x a day... the nurse line is wonderful for when you forget something! Your time with the doctor will be about 5 minutes and you will be absolutely rushed through with the doctor seeming to have made a decision before even talking with you. If you have tests run, don't plan on anyone calling you or explaining the results. You'll be expected to schedule another appointment and wait for another three months.

Dr. Neary RUINED my husband's arm. He torn his distal tendon and required surgery. At the…read moreconsult, my husband requested the more senior physician but he said couldn't do the surgery because of a vacatio. So Dr. Neary was the physician to ATTEMPT the repair. During the surgery, Neary drilled and attached the tendon to the WRONG bone, upon xray he noticed his error. (he even documented that he erroneously attached a tendon to the wrong bone in his physician report) He then had to cut into the back of his arm to detach the tendon and reattach it to the correct arm. he did not a properly attach the tendon to the bicep, so his bicep is still attached incorrectly. When drilling into the wrong bone he brushed across a nerve causing permanent nerve damage and loss of feeling in all his fingers.

I would first like to say that I am no one special. Just a regular person. I had the misfortune of being in a terrible accident quite a few years ago that led to me having to have an L5-S1 Spinal Fusion. Flash forward- the one, and ONLY good thing to have come from my having to be a Pain Management patient, is Dr. Garland "Bobby" Greene at this practice. He is the most wonderful, kind, caring, and most of all (in my humble opinion), non-judgmental person/doctor I have ever met. He genuinely cares about his patients, and treats me with respect and understanding. His level of kindness is something that most of us should strive for. If we did, the world would be a better place. I am writing this review, because I felt it important to let anyone know, that if you are looking for a Pain Management specialist, you should come see Dr. Greene at the Comfort and Wellness Center. The staff overall is nothing short of wonderful (the current staff that is). Dr. Greene is a wonderful human being, and doesn't treat me, nor judge me, for my current (and probably life-long) condition. He listens when no one else will, he helps when he can, and most of all....HE CARES!! He cares about my well-being. He cares whether or not I am getting better. He cares that my pain is managed.
