I used land and water exercises twice a week for five months including an at home program. It wasn't always easy, but there was always progress. Peter, Christine and Mike took me from nearly zero flexion to full flexion after I fractured my kneecap. They are very dedicated to getting their clients back to their best function achievable. I was encouraged to make notes how to do the stretches and do them on my own. After the first weeks, they suggested to come back only weekly which saved me on the co-pays. Recovery from these surgeries requires considerable time. No other options were offered. One visit with the person I now call " Dr.Dan - the Miracle Man" resulted in considerable improvement so that I would not remotely consider surgery. I've never had to go for physical therapy before…read more I had severe pain in my shoulder that I've been dealing with for years, finally it got so bad and my wife was nagging me so much that I went to the doctor and the doctor told me that he was going to have me do some physical therapy and if that didn't work they would have to do an operation and shoulder replacement. I started my physical therapy and within a few weeks I could start seeing a difference and feeling a difference with so much less pain. I kept up with the exercises they told me to do at home and went a couple times a week for most weeks over a six-week period. Dr. Peyton and Jillian were wonderful because they worked with me specifically but the whole staff was extremely friendly and I almost felt bad when I wouldn't be going back anymore. I went back for my follow-up with my doctor at Batavia sports medicine and she was amazed with my recovery. They put me through several test and measured range of motion etc. and determined that I have about 90 to 95% of my range of motion back and I am almost pain-free. Remember, I had been in terrible pain for years before this and now I'm almost pain-free, this is just an incredible feeling and I don't have to have a shoulder replacement operation. I chose to book an appointment at Infinity seeing as they are open until 7:00 and I had to work until 5:00. Luckily when I called to schedule, they had a 6:30 appointment available for that day! Upon arrival, the receptionist was very pleasant and informative. Dustin was my massage therapist and concentrated on my problem areas as well as made me feel comfortable. After our session he gave me a tour and explained the other therapy options they offered. Before I left he recommended a future appointment without making me feel pressured to return.
