I started having issues with my vision where everything just seemed blurry and a bit "off". My…read moreinitial doctor I saw at Blanco Kays was unable to find anything wrong and kept running the same vision tests on me and we even ordered new glasses that did nothing to solve the problem. He had me see the two other doctors in the office and they were unable to find any reason why my vision might be off and all three doctors suggested I just need to get adjusted to the new glasses. When that didn't help, they re-ran the same vision tests and thought I just needed to order glasses with a larger frame size. That still didn't help and they continued to insist I just need to wait at least 30 days to get adjusted to the glasses. This process went on for months with no improvement in my vision and the doctors and opticians didn't seem to care. I finally decided to see another eye doctor in town and immediately he was able to correctly diagnose me with strabismus (a very severe and obvious case, actually) and got me into prism lens which immediately solved all my vision troubles. Very disappointed that none of the doctors at Blanco Kays were able to diagnose me correctly with such an obvious case of strabismus and suggested that I was just exaggerating the issue and there was nothing wrong.

I was denied an exchange on contacts due to writing an L and R on the box and because one box was open. I now have 11 lenses that are of no use to me because the prescription had to be changed. I have in the past been able to exchange the unused lenses for the new prescription after having an exam with them. I explained to the doctor that I was concerned about ordering to many contacts because the prescription can change. She understood. When I ordered the technician ordered two boxes for each eye, I only wanted one per eye. I did not notice till I got home. I called and was told not to worry because they can be exchanged for the updated prescription. When I went in to do so, I was denied. The manager was no help and somewhat rude. I will not give them my business again. I suggest you make sure you read all the fine print on the web site. That's were the policy is stating no open boxes or boxes with writing on them can be returned. I failed to read the web site policy and therefor I now have 11 unusable contact lenses that cost me $137.50. All I wanted was to exchange them for usable lenses with the newly corrected prescription. No such luck at MyeyeDr.

I was very clear from the on-set that the whole reason for my appointment was to get the free…read moreglasses approved by Medicare after Cataract surgery. I went in ahead of the appointment to have my insurance cards scanned so that neither they nor I had any surprises the day of the appointment and I communicated this to them. They texted and called me four or five times to confirm the appointment which was highly annoying. Then at the end of the appointment when it was time to get my free Medicare glasses after cataract surgery, is when they informed me they don't carry any medicare frames anymore. This was information that should have been given at the on-set. Although the people were very nice, I'm not a whole lot into paying $40 bucks for niceness, and no glasses. A complete waste of my time. They, however , will get paid. If I could give negative star, I would.
