Highly recommend you stop on your way in/leaving Lake of the Ozarks. We stopped before heading to drop off our bags and it was so cute! This place has a multitude of stuff to grab for snacks or to take as gifts. There's all different kinds of popcorn, treats, and a chocolate counter where you can fill your own box of chocolates, as well as a coffee stand. It's got a lot of great stuff but it is a tight squeeze inside. This was perfect to get my caffeine fix & to grab an assorted box of chocolates (which were very yummy). The staff was super helpful with picking out chocolates and paying and the ladies working the coffee were quick & efficient. There's lots of parking and a nice scenic point of the lake from their parking lot. read more

The place was busy on Thursday. Should have listened to my gut when choosing a bag of popcorn though. Cracker Jack lover for the candy covered peanuts alone, I bought a bag of Caramel Cashew. I noticed that there weren't any bags missing from that shelf, whereas I noticed the other shelved popcorn was being purchased by customers. So I dig into the bag of Caramel Cashew and didn't get any cashews. I took the bag home and emptied it out to get to the nuts which I figured were at the bottom. No such luck. In fact I counted 7 cashews, none of which had an iota of caramel. Looks like they grabbed a bag of caramel popcorn and threw a few cashews in it. Disappointed read more

The absolute best!!! Everyone is so friendly and kind and helpful. They always make us feel at home and they are wonderful with our grandson. Gelato options are different every day and always delicious. The coffee is great. And of course the popcorn and chocolate are both wonderful as well. We love this place. read more

Wow! Where else can you get freshly made,unique lattes (they even melt chocolate into their espresso for mochas!), popcorn in a variety of flavors, a cornucopia of Gelato and endless candy choices all under the same roof! I ordered the cinnamon bun mocha and it was like a sip of heaven. Not too sweet and full of flavor. I also enjoyed admiring the variety of freshly made candies throughout the store. They have coffee beans for sale, too and I went with the English Toffee bean. It's now one of my favorite roasts. If you're in the Ozarks, it's worth making a trip here. Great gift options and something to pleas everyone you are traveling with. Not to mention free samples of the Gelato. read more

Stopped in for coffee and I was somewhat reluctant because I am kind of a bucks girl. I ordered the iced mocha with non fat milk- it was amazing!!! I asked about how they make it and they melt down their chocolate and blend it into the espresso before chilling and blending with milk. I bought the dark chocolate chips and espresso to try and replicate at home. We tried a few flavors of the gelato and they were all amazing. I got a pint of the non dairy limoncello and strawberry to add to our truly strawberry lemonade vodka drinks and that was delish!! Came back the next day for another coffee and got a pint of dollys coconut cake and the banana nut bread gelato to bring back to StL. The staff was amazing!! Everyone was so nice and helpful. We had a 2.5 hour trip back to StL so they put the gelato in a cooler bag packed with bags of ice just to help me bring this treat home. They definitely went above and beyond. We were visiting the lake area from Kansas City and looking for things to do. A local told us about the newest Osage River Popcorn location that had specialty coffee, popcorn, and gelato. It was easy to find and right off the main highway with easy access for those traveling. When we walked inside we were greeted promptly and enjoyed the employee's interactions. We learned about the gourmet European chocolates. So many shapes and amazing flavors. The staff were helpful and told us their faves and also their family favorites. They had beautiful boxes to put them in for gifts. I purchased some for my co-workers and myself. There is a peek-a-boo window to watch the popcorn being made fresh on site. The kids loved this. Their cheese popcorn was even being made with real cheese. Their gelato is also freshly made on site. A lot of flavors to choose including a dairy free! We had a few samples and they were so rich and creamy. We bought several flavors of popcorn. The caramel flavor is the best I have ever had. We also love the local Osage Mix which has a combo of flavors. My daughter loved the Pickle Pop. This place is a "must stop". I love discovering the flavors of a locally-owned store. The coffee was amazing and enjoyed the vanilla latte. The place is new and spotless. I wish they would open a location in Kansas City. read more

Lovely little shop. Lots of popcorn, candies/chocolates and GELATO. We came for the Gelato Latte (also known as Affagato). You get 2 scoops of Gelato and they pour espresso on top and serve with a spoon and straw. I also asked for a cup of ice so one my gelato fully melted, I poured it over ice and it was like an iced latte. SO. DELICIOUS. I got banana nut + german chocolate, and my friend got 2 scoops of mint chocolate and they were both excellent. The workers were super nice and friendly as well. Definitely will come back. read more

The Dam location carries Stam chocolate, which is hands down the best chocolate I've ever had! Stam makes different flavors of filled bonbons, and every single flavor is fantastic! They have several liquor flavored bonbons as well as plenty that are kid friendly. It's not the nasty syrup flavored bonbons you're picturing. The filling is a cream base, and the chocolate melts in your mouth. Definitely worth the trip! The popcorn is really good too with plenty of unique flavor options, and the prices are reasonable.
