Lots of pluses. First, there's a spacious parking lot which has direct footbridge access to the Villa Angela Beach (which has the Cleveland sign). Second, if you enjoy fishing, Wildwood Park has a couple of locations off the piers which are amenable to early morning or late afternoon fishing from the land. Third, it's not as crowded as other beaches in the metro area. One downside, however, is the limited areas where swimming is permitted. This is probably for safety reasons (to help the lifeguards). If you have younger children, however, this beach is a nice option. Overall, I would probably not go out of my way to visit this beach. But if you're staying on the northeast side of Cleveland, it's worth a stop.

The water was brownish. I did walk in it. Not sure I'd want to swim in it though. Lovely views all around. People fishing off the bridge 'catching fresh air'. I couldn't believe it was not packed. If I lived here, I'd be here often.

I don't usually see a lot of other people around (although I tend to be here around 9-10pm), the wildlife is so amazing to see when they're around, and the scenery is outstanding. I remember one particular night, one of my friends and I were walking around listening to and trying to see woodcocks (the birds) by the forest, and it was just such a great way to bond and experience nature to the fullest. Now that it's winter, the wildlife isn't out nearly as much, and that's okay! It's still an excellent walking trail. It's decently plowed, although I do wish that it was salted in some spots-- most of the walk is okay, but in a few spots, I was slipping on the ice. So if you come here while it snowed recently, make sure to be really careful on the ice! Essentially, it's a great place to walk and make memories if you like to go with buddies!

More and more bikes and scooters taking up the paths, it's a walking park, not a bike park per the…read moresigns. Also, one of the houses by route 44 shoots guns out their back which basically puts you down range of what ever they're shooting at when you're walking around the north side of the pond. Has many stairs that you have to carefully use to get to the beach. It often is very slippery. The waves make things wet. It isn't much of a beach. This is pretty rocky. Swimming is allowed. The water is very dangerous looking. It's not a place for amateurs. This also isn't just a dog park. It's okay for people to hang out at. They have a few tables at the entrance before stairs. It can be hard to get here. Parking lot is across the street. The park is like someone's back yard and there's many locals who seem to like to be here whenever.

The "FREE STAMP" here is cool and a nice structure to see. I love the pink colour that the word "FREE" is written on. This is apparently the largest rubber stamp in Cleveland...haha. It would have being nice if the City erected a plaque right next to the stamp that describes it. For a great view of Lake Erie, walk straight ahead on East 9th street until you reach Voinovich Bicentennial Park. Bluebell Valley had some areas that were steep and slippery and a huge flight of stairs. We got to see a snake and a deer, as well as chipmunks. There are many beautiful trees, but unfortunately the water was so low that the stream was barely running. We saw one picnic pavilion and there was a restroom. Metro Parks does a great job taking care of their parks.

The office store has some food, snacks & supplies for sale. We paid $30.00 per night with our Good Sam's discount (which is 10% off their rate) plus $3.00 charge to run our air conditioner and $3.00 for Wifi. I would have given this park 10 stars if the extras were not a $3.00 charge for each. Nice landscaping and they have a diner on the campground which has very limited hours.

I helped coach kids tennis with drills then we all met inside the recreation center for lunch and to hear from Police Officers. It was a nice community event and I had fun. The tennis courts are in good condition . The recreation center itself is average with a basketball court and a gym. I believe that there is a swimming pool inside too. Bathrooms are available also.
