Oscar's shop has been open for many years. About 20 years ago, he made us an all glass dining room table that we still use. We first called ahead to get an estimate of the cost. We stopped in and spoke with the staff and Oscar about a new 7'x2' glass top for another project. The price we were quoted was very reasonable. We were told that they would call us in a couple of days when it was ready and they did! It was perfect! One of their staff put it in our SUV. Everyone at Oscar's was friendly and helpful. Oscar's Glass is the BEST! Cheerful, courteously, polite service, wonderful people whom to do business with. Our latest purchase was for a piece of glass to protect a "live edge" epoxy resin black walnut coffee table. I provided a template, which was very intricate, for Oscar's to pattern for a piece of hand cut glass. I was a bit nervous of the outcome because of the multiple curves and rounded corners. Well, the product was perfect, following my pattern precisely! The price for the glass, overall measurements of 36"x24", was much less than I expected. This is a great resource for both large and small projects. I needed to replace the glass on a vintage piece and decided to try here based on a recommendation. They are open early in the morning which was very helpful. I was able to walk right in and have someone walk me through what I needed. They could have pressured me to replace all three pieces on the item I brought in but instead just replaced a missing piece and buffed out the edges of another piece. The pricing was fair and they didn't charge me at all to buff out the other one. Both the price quote and the amount of time required to cut the piece were accurate.The staff here was very kind and friendly and professional. I will be taking all my glass needs to them. read more

Had an occasion to visit several days ago to inquire about replacement glass for the top of my marine aquarium. There was one piece with a large radius and another with muliple angles. Droped them off late Monday, they were ready for pickup Tues. The new glass matched perfectly with sharp edges broken. The price was very reasonable. Went here today to get a replacement mirror cut- brought my own thrift find. The guy behind the desk was immediatly concerned about his liability - I get it but your not winning me over with a $5 charge to remove the mirror from the frame. The small fee charged for the cut was what brought me in, but was not told about added charges when I called about services offered. The two other employees were very polite and helpful. Apparently I was supposed to come back the following day to pick it up according to bossman, "they had other things they should be doing" I was told. His workers slipped my mirror in the back, got it done and I was out the door in less than 15 minutes. Am very happy with their work and the show room there is gorgeous. Will go back there, hopefully no more replacements though. read more

I only have dealt with this shop on the phone but am very impressed. I needed some glass pieces for some tables. I called three shops. Barbara who answered the phone was friendly, and patiently guided me as to what they recommended for my pieces. They were the best price of the three I called. I had to cancel the order because the furniture wasn't available. Called the shop, spoke with Oscar, and fortunately they hadn't started on the job and canceled with no problem. I purchased an expensive vanity mirror and had it installed while away. Upon my return, I noticed the mirror film on the back was chipped away along one edge, about 5" long by 3/8" wide. Owner Oscar said "I got it wet." He said that he would remove it, re-cut it and re-install and add caulk to fill in the gap!!!. The mirror film did not get wet. The mirror is custom sized with a cut-out for the light fixture and parallel grooves around all sides. Trimming a half inch would cause greater problems, i.e. light electrical box being moved, grooves no longer symmetrical around the edge. Yes accidents happen but Oscar's response was insulting and unacceptable. I must leave it as is as the only fix is to replace it. read more

I purchased sliding glass doors for the showers in both bathrooms. I was told that they have a life time warranty. The installation process went great! However, the caulking came loose and needed to be reapplied. The guys for the service call were not as good as the installer. As they were removing the existing caulk, they cut my travertine step. I discussed with the owner and received no resolution. A few years later, the caulk came loose again. I called today and was told there would be a $89 service fee just to come out. So much for that lifetime warranty! They promise this life time warranty.....but then there are exceptions that are not in writing. I was very pleased with the install, but feel taken advantage of with the new terms to a life time warranty. I would have preferred to know up front what is and what is not covered. This life time warranty is why I selected this company....very disappointed! read more
