My wife and I recently downsized and moved into a "new" older home. I Initially made contact with Largo glass looking to purchase 2 pieces of tempered glass for bar shelving on Feb 23 via their sales email. I made a follow up call on Feb 26 to see if my quote had been prepared. I was told that Maria would be in touch, and the service agent took my information. On March 02 I followed up with Largo glass again, and once again was told Maria would be right back in touch with me. After waiting an hour and half I searched other providers of tempered glass in the Clearwater area and came upon Tempered Glass Industries. I contacted Largo Glass to give me a price on a shower door. I just finished remodeling one of my bathrooms and needed a new shower door. I talked to a woman who informed me that I needed to give her the measurements first. I went home did the measurements and called back, but talked to a guy this time and he said they needed to come out and do a measurement. Ok. they came exactly a week ago and I have still not received a quote. I have called twice now and spoke to the same woman I spoke with initially and she keeps telling me that she will email me, but her customer service is awful and she still has not emailed me a quote. I will be reaching out to another company. I don't care what the quote is at this point, I have no faith that they will do what they say because it has been 7 full days and I still cannot even get a price for a shower door. read more

I called the next day and they apologized so I decided to give them a second chance. They rescheduled for yesterday at 6:00. Again, NO SHOW...NO CALL! My wife and I went to Largo glass to get a new glass wall for our shower and add a wall on the back end of the shower . We walked into the showroom and we were not greeted by anyone. There was a woman sitting at the front desk area on the phone . She did not acknowledge us . We looked around the showroom for a few minutes and then walked up to the desk where we were curtly asked what we needed. We told her that we were interested in replacing one glass wall in our bathroom and adding another small one to the end of the shower. Her reply was , what are the measurements? I had measured the area we needed and showed them to her. She asked if we wanted clear glass and we asked about getting something opaque. She said they had an item and pointed to the showroom floor. I guess the walk to the she showroom to show us and explain the differences was too much work. All this time she was holding the phone in her hand and did not come around from behind the desk. My wife and I then walked over to the different styles of glass and went back to the desk and asked about price. Her reply was that whatever the clear glass was anything other than clear would be double. Every answer was one word, and curt on top of it. We were made to feel with the phone in her hand that we were keeping her from a phone call. . She then told us if they had to remove any existing glass that would be a charge . She wrote down the price on my drawing and handed it to us. We thanked her and left. We then sat in our car for a few minutes and then we both talked about how curt she was. There was absolutely no customer service. No explanation . No questions about what we liked or what alternatives there were for us. We were both blown away by her borderline rudeness. I guess a $1,500 install doesn't come with customer service . Maybe you have to spend more money to get more help than one word answers . We then left and went to Oscar's Award glass and mirror. They were great. We were asked what we were looking for. They showed us pictures of various installs with different kinds of glass. The customer service was awesome!! Their price was much cheaper for a larger area and they treated us like they cared . They get 5 stars and I give Largo glass 1 star only because I can't give them no stars. read more
