I had hired City And Beyond again, I had a prior review for work they had completed on my house…read more This time, Geovanny gave me a quote to repair 3 large and heavy gates in my backyard. Hed had to re-hang each gate to get them level and added 6 HD spring loaded wheels, to keep them supported AND so they will last a long time, with his repair. During his repair, I also asked for a quote for about 40 feet of missing privacy fence. He quoted it and even brought the quote down, to help me financially and that I was a return customer. So for everything above, his total was $2200. A price no other contractor came close too!! He finished the gate project in 2 days and the new fence in 1 day, his men stayed until the fence replacement was finished and left close to 8pm! They returned the next day for clean-up amd removal of all the old fencing. He even replaced about 6, 8ft long pickets that were broken from a fallen tree. Outstanding work and I already have 2 new jobs, scheduled in the future, some additional interior sheetrock and paint and to resurface my backyard deck. There is no need for me to even look around for another contractor, as Geovanny and his crews to great work!! If I can edit this review tomorrow, I will add the "repair" photos, I only have the "before" photos now.

From the owner: Investment casting has, without a doubt, earned its place in manufacturing. The lost-wax process…read morehas proven to be a cost effective way to produce metal components. Parts can be reduced in weight, tolerances of +/- .005" per inch held, and expenses and time involving machining and finishing reduced or eliminated. The bottom line is, many parts are perfect candidates for investment casting. Our commitment is to produce the highest quality castings. At Texcast quality is not a new "buzz" word. We have maintained the highest quality to achieve consistent results. It has always been reflected in our final product. The lost-wax process provides unique opportunities for engineers and designers. Intricate structures can be created with minimum or no secondary machining operations.A pattern is produced by injecting wax into a permanent die. These wax patterns are mounted on tree assemblies. A shell is created by dipping the tree assembly into a ceramic slurry (this is called "investing" the shell), then a stucco coating is applied. A well designed tree assembly controls flow of metal. Proper controls in the casting process produce accurate and consistent results. Shells are dried and then heated to remove the wax (that's where the terminology "lost-wax castings" comes from). Shells are then fired to correct temperature. Metal is brought up to temperature and poured into the shell. After cooling, individual parts can be separated and carefully finished.
