I saw Dr. Alhabian for a new patient visit. When I arrived she had no knowledge of my medical…read morehistory. She then proceeded to try to roll back every advance any doctor had made to my health over the last decade, and she was not open to discussion on any topic. Rather, Dr. Alhabian tried to lay down the law with me. She then proceeded to order numerous tests that were already part of my medical history (if she ever would read it) or that were wholly unnecessary. I was so shocked and offended by my treatment that I made an appointment with my previous primary care physician before even leaving the parking lot.

When I arrived for the appointment I was told the appointment had been cancelled. They did offer an appointment later that day but I wasn't able to make that. The only other available time was a week later. There is a prompt care next door but if I am sick I like to see my own doctor. They have become too busy and too big. You can't get past the front desk to see your own doctor.

I always go early everywhere so I arrived about an hour early and take a book to keep me occupied. Less than 10 minutes after arriving I get called in for the appointment. When the doctor comes in and I thought it was a two way involvement between patient and doctor like she stated in her mission statement. I quickly was told to stop talking and let her share what she sees in my chart! A lot of misinterpretations occurred and when I tried to speak she told me to be quiet while she went over her findings. This went on for most of the appointment! The last item was my handicapped sticker renewal that need to be signed and dated by a doctor. I have a 3 year placard currently that is expiring in the next two months. She would only sign it for 6 months because I didn't have my cane with me. When I disputed her denial because I have a bad back and neuropathy in my feet and can't walk long distances and afraid I could fall which I don't want to do, she told me without any assistance seen OSF limited the approval to 6 months while she works to find solutions to make me better. Well, I am 71 and had this problem for several years and been an OSF patient all this time and it's only getting harder to get around for fear I will fall and hurt myself worse! So much for working with her patients as a team. I won't be going back! There was no respect or appreciation for a senior citizen who knows her body and OSF has not done much to make the situation better. I was not impressed and will be looking for another doctor! I know my body and needs better than a young doctor who is just meeting me for the first time!

The…read moredoctors housed here are amazing but unfortunately after the experience I just had with BONNIE at the front desk I will not be coming back! My daughter was scheduled for an appointment today in order to get her physical for kindergarten. When I scheduled the appointment I was told by Cindy that I would have to bring the kids to two separate days due to availability. When I get to the front desk Bonnie was the one who opened her window to help me I asked her if there were any cancellations so that both of my kids could be seen the same day vs different days and she tells me "they can't be seen together due to cancellations" I say to her "Um no they can't be seen together because there weren't two available times for them to be seen" the woman processed to argue with me stating she was there when I had spoke to Cindy and she told me the same thing. Cindy NEVER ONCE told me my children could not be seen on the same date due to appointment cancellations and I'm sorry but how STUPID does that sound?! If that was even true why would you separate both appointments because of that?! If in there in the building asking can both of my kids be seen today wouldn't it make since to go ahead and allowing it vs having a 2nd appointment at a later date that I could CANCEL?! I am not happy with the customer service coming from this women. She has a bad attitude her appearance is hostile and Bonnie alone is enough for you not not want to visit this doctors office at all!! I canceled my daughters appointment all together and told them to remove my kids as patients we will not be coming back! And I will find out who I need to speak to in Ofer to complain about the rude and disrespectful BONNIE working at the front counter.
