Decided to try out OSHA the day before Thanksgiving and was not a fan. The place was empty and the service was just OK. We sat at the bar and felt rushed to order. We later learned it was the bartender's last day. I ordered the drunken noodles ($15) with vegetables at a level four spice. And my friend ordered the Tom Yum soup ($14) with chicken at a level five Thai spice. Mine had minimal spice (level 5 is the highest). It tasted more sweet but was lacking flavor. My friend said hers was lacking flavor as well, but it did have more spice to it.. The restaurant had a nice ambience based on where it was located and it had a lot of sitting space, but I'm not sure if I would go back to try it again. read more

Thought it was a good idea to stop by for the posted "Happy Hour"...unfortunately, once I entered the lone server informed me that she was not aware of what the actual Happy Hour menu or cocktails were. She made a reference to not being familiar with register system & after trying to look there, nothing was showing as happy hour options. She also overshared that the owners have another location & were too busy to respond to her attempts to contact them about her questions. She was nice but very uninformed or prepared to serve. I noticed her also walk outside to read the signage that posted happy hour to confirm if my timeframe was correct...it was. Any who, I ordered Crab Ragoon. Filling was good but felt a little slighted as puffs were on the lighter side. Less fuller than other places. Sauce provided was good. I only got water, not interested in a full priced cocktail before 5pm. Just disappointed that I could not benefit in a happy hour experience, during happy hour. The big plus for me was the amazing Playlist (old-school r&b). I will try them again, I like the quaint space. read more

I went to this Thai place with my colleagues from work. We each got a variety of different options. My friends were mostly vegetarian, and they had a lot of vegetarian options. So this is a good place for vegan lovers. I got the basil fried rice with shrimp. You could substitute shrimp with beef, chicken, tofu, veggies. They also have different spice levels. Think there were four levels, and I got just the one below the spiciest one. I meant for lunch and the price was affordable. Definitely will go here again. read more

Found this quaint little Thai Restaurant while I was walking downtown. Decided to stop in on a whim and was glad I did. The food was full of flavor. The Shrimp Shumai had a nice crispy outside and delicious shrimp filling that pairs nicely with the sweet chili sauce. The Pas Thai had the right amount of spice and was absolutely delicious. HIDDEN GEM!!! Last night was the second time I've been in, and it was just as delicious as the first time! The atmosphere was great for date night, we sat in a booth looking at the beautiful bar. Our server, Sarah S., was great and we bonded about having the same name (iykyk). I chose the Pad See Ew with beef and my boyfriend got the drunken noodles with veggies. Wonderful place to host your next special event. The staff did an excellent job hosting our rehearsal dinner for 20 people tonight. The owner Nick was very easy to work with and accommodating as we set the date and menu. Everything was as expected and ready when we got there. The food was fantastic. Good portions and fresh. I had a noodle dish with beef and it was delicious. I also had a Sazerac which was the best I've had outside of New Orleans. They seemed a little understaffed, the guy who was working behind the bar was also serving all the tables, but he did a good job keeping up. Ordered Panang curry - a favorite - for Grubhub delivery. Spice level was perfect; however, curry was "thickened" and not my favorite. Tofu and vegetable ingredients were great, but the curry itself was just a little off. (Also, I only received chopsticks and no cutlery with my order. Terrible experience, their server will increase the tip on the bill, I would avoid going there or pay in cash. Ate at the restaurant on a Tuesday evening, the restaurant was essentially empty. We had the Pad Thai with Chicken and Pad See Ew with Beef and two waters. The server was unpleasant and the food took forever to come out. However, both dishes tasted pretty good, although they were of smaller portions. Ultimately, it was an okay meal and poor service, but still tipped 22%. A few days later I was checking my credit card statement and notices that the charge was $10 more than it should have been. I went into the restaurant, spoke with the manager, who apologized, said he would look into it and ultimately the upcharge was refunded. Overall, there are a lot of Thai restaurants in the downtown Lex area (at least 4 that I can think of within a 1 mile radius of this restaurant), and those restaurants have better food, larger portions, faster cook times, similar prices, have been in business longer, and have way better and more ethic customer service. read more
